* Food (sliced duck and shrimp/General Tsos Chicken) was great; generous portions and very fresh produce... * Menu is varied and large but not overwhelming... *Service was topnotch -- young woman who waited on us took time to help wife with pronounciation of fortune cookies "word of the day"... *Decor is neat, light, and elegant... *Ambiance is superb; muted baroque and galante chamber music -- civilized. A great restaurant, regardless of cooking style.

Friendly atmosphere but sullen waiter. Tangerine beef had a reasonable flavor but was too heavily breaded before being deep fried beyond recognition. Duck in ginger sauce was served over very chewy bok choy and may have been something other than duck. Second and most definitely last visit to this restaurant. Sorry for the bad review but terribly disappointing restaurant.

Expensive for what you get. Generally well prepared, but small portions and, ah, interesting spice on some of the dishes. One vegetarian dish had so much garlic it was literally inedible. We paid $81 for two orders of dumplings, a small container of strangely spiced cold sesame noodles, beef Szechuan style, and three veggie dishes.

A friend and I have eaten lunch here a couple of times in the past year, as GB is a mid-point between our homes. Its "ok" Chinese food, but not what one can get closer to NYC. The meals that weve eaten have been satisfactory; the meal in January 2016 seemed more fresh and flavorful than the one in early September.

Was just visiting Great Barrington and needed a Chinese fix. I was shocked at how good the food is. I suppose I have a city bias, but coming from Boston, I didnt expect a place out here as good or better than the Chinese restaurants near me at home. Highly recommend!

We enjoy take out from Koi a few times a month. The Chicken wings can be the best or worst depending if they use the nice fresh whole wings or they substitute with what seems like a frozen cheap chicken product . Overall we enjoy the food and recommend .

Wonderful. Food great. Atmosphere very nice. Waiter very nice. First time here, and will come back when we are in this area again. The food was so appetizing, and presented in a very formal way. Excellent.
