We had our lunch at this restaurant on July 24, 2014 during our visit to Gloucester MA where Perfect Storm was made for. I did not know this restaurant before and only picked it based on google search and reading the comments briefly. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The server lady recommended surf clam (贵妃蚌）and Chinese onion pita (葱油饼） to us. Both turned out delicious and we finished them both. I cannot imagine that in this city where there are not a lot of Chinese-speaking visitors, they are able to make some very delicious food that we like. For those visiting Gloucester and like Chinese food, you will not regret trying this restaurant near the pier very close to Fishermans memorial. It is all free parking here.

Ive been coming here since my daughter was an infant now she is 16 we go there every year for her birthday this is the one and only best Chinese food in Gloucester The food is always fresh hot and delicious all the time with no MSG my whole family loves it ... the owner s and severs are Awesome they make you feel like family there we love it....

I love Horizon! Been going there for years. Consistently good fresh food. The owners and staff are friendly and attentive. My favorites are the Crispy Garlic Shrimp, Singapore Rice Noodles, and the Green Bean dish, which has small pieces of some kind of asian pickle--delicious.

We go fairly often and get take out..its a nice place with wonderful food, well run, small and comfortable. Family owned...everything is cooked well. my wife and kids LOVE the Peking Duck! Excellent appetizers! and reasonably priced...right near the harbor.

I ordered there for the first time tonight and got a bone in my chicken fingers(see my photo in the pics section)! I almost broke my tooth! And greasy MSG. Dont bother with this place. Not even 1 star.

They have the best Chinese food in the area. Crispy Garlic Shrimp and their Rice noodle dishes are goto ones for me. Its a good place for vegetarian and gluten-free/ gluten-light diets too.
