My wife and I were on our way from Boston to Westborough overnight and she was in the mood for Mexican. I Googled "Mexican Restarants,Westborough" and found The Aztec. We did not want to go to the typical Mexican chain restaurants for obvious reasons. From the moment we pulled up in front of the Aztec, we were in love. It is Mexican "tacky", small with great food, great margaritas and great service. It reminded us of a place we used to go to in Virginia, when we lived there. Gabriela was our waitress. She is a UMass Boston student and could not have been more beautiful or attentive to our needs. I wish this place was in my town of Cohasset. I probably would never go home. J

My wife and I had been coming here for years, sharing the same chicken fajitas dish, which was good. Has always seemed like a welcoming family restaurant. However, tonight, as always, I requested an extra plate so we could share our meal. I was told I could have one for $3. New house rule. This is not even to split the dish--just for an extra plate! Waiters and waitresses apologized but said they were under orders. Dont enjoy making a mess trying to eat without a plate and wont pay their outrageous $3 charge. Its too bad, but after all these years we wont go back.

We walked in we were told to go in the back. Next party walked in, were seated, server came out and ignored us, took their order, didnt take our drink order, went to the back didnt acknowledge us and took their dinner order, after taking their dinner order she went directly back talking on the phone. After waiting for approximately 10 minutes and server not bothering to say she would would be with us, we decided that obviously the existing customers were more important than trying to make new ones! We suggest using go to Acapulcos because their service was great.

The restaurant is small, but festive, and the food tastes amazing! I never thought I could find a better taco, until I had it from here. I didnt want to admit it, bit its true. Chips and salsa are served as you wait. Warning, the plates (Literally the plates), are super hot, dont touch them until it cools down. I suspect its due to being put in a broiler to melt the cheese on the beans. Nevertheless, if you get burned, which is your fault (they do warn you, and I did too), youll forgive them because the food is so good.

We waited 15 min and all we got were menus. There appeared to only be one server for which we sat and watched while she waited on a party of 5 that came in after us. She took their drink order, went back and got their drinks, delivered their drinks and proceeded to take their food order. She then went to take a phone call all while we sat there without even an acknowledgement that we were there. There was only one other table of 2 that were finishing their meal so being busy isnt an excuse.

I find most Mexican food in New England to be poorly done. I thought this place does it all very well. The service is warm and friendly and they are quick to help out with questions. The food is outstanding in flavor, quality, and portion size. This is where we come to eat whenever we are in the Framingham area.

This is a small place, the music kept repeating itself, but I felt like I could be in a small Mexican Cantina. Very good food, very authentic. I would highly recommend to others to stop in. Just watch out if its been raining theres a huge puddle by the front door.

Lively decor and classic Mexican food. Nothing to complain about, nothing to rave about. It has a very nice patio; had it not been so bright, I would have eaten there. I would like to give it 3.5 stars, but its just not at the 4-star level, so its got 3.

I had their Chimichanga with rice & beans. It was wonderful. Because of 1 good experience, I will be revisiting them soon! So happy I found an affordable Mexican restaurant to satisfy my craving. Staff is also very friendly so thats a plus

Great little restaurant. Have gone twice. Always greeted and drinks, food order taken in reasonable timeframe. Never felt ignored. Staff always pleasant. Authentic Michelada drink supurb and worth trying.

I always get the chicken chimichanga. Once you take about 2/3 of the meat out, you have an extremely balanced and satisfying and not-gross meal. I eat here once almost every day.
