I would have given this place 5 stars but they dont make enough oatmeal. I love their oatmeal but every time I go there in the morning it sells out and they dont make more. They should sell oatmeal all day or make a humongous pot of it. I love their food, always fresh, good portions and reasonable prices. I have only tried their jerk, curry and fried chicken. Its a small eatery, not many seats. Friendly staff. Give yourself time to order, there may be a long wait if it is busy or crowded. They no longer deliver. There are other Jamaican restaurants in and around Boston I have to try but so far the only one is my fave in Boston.

Pros: the food tastes good, the portion is really good, the place is clean Cons: lines too long, sign says breakfast hours 7-11am but they are out of most breakfast food at 9:30 am! On one visit cashier takes order down incorrectly and instead of just apologizing food server says "you shouldve checked your receipt" then proceeds with attitude to correct their wrong. I go there mostly because its convenient for me.

One of the best for me so far!!! The wait can be long on some days... Be patient Customer Service improved over the years Fry dumplings tun up Curry goat and white rice tun way up Steam veggies needs improvement, however the raw veggies (cabbage and carrot shredded with vinegar) is like when my sister makes it and her cooking is best.

I used to only get the oxtail bc oxtail is my favorite jamaican dish. Today I tried the curry goat and I almost cried it was so good! Seriously. One of the best Ive EVER tasted. Ever. Theres only one other person who makes curry goat like that and her restaurant is 5 hours away in jersey. REALLY good.

Only One is by far the best Jamaican Food restaurant in the Dorchester area. Its one of the best places you can go for authentic Jamaican cuisines, mouth watering chicken... much better than KFCs, delicious beef patties and more, I just wish they would add cheese patties to their menu. Love IT (^-^)

Awesome!!! Smiling, courteous service..not not mention every handsome male servers! The food was A1, reminds me of my own cooking. They got a 4 star because of the wait time but if you dont mind waiting for good food you will love this place...Thumbs up Only One Jamaican Restaurant! !!!

Service okay. Not an eat in. Food is not good. The equivalent of a Caribbean school lunch. Spices just dont make sense. They get good business but not sure if its just because of Boston area. Wouldnt try again to see if maybe an off night. Way too much NOT to ny liking. SORRY :)

The food is delicious but I do agree the lines are very long and there could be less talking and more multi tasking... the staff is courteous I eat there often they really should have a line for patties only to wait 20 minutes for a patty is ridiculous... but I ll still go back

Only One fits this Resturant as a business name. Their food,customer service are all wonderful and fresh. Good Sunday dinner taste so you dont feel your eating fast food. Plus their desserts are fanstastic Red Velvet,Carrot Cake Cheese Cake,and Almond Cake.

The rice was good. Ordered a jerk plate and the chicken was barely warm along with being soggy. The cabbage wasnt cooked all the way and most of all the fried chicken tasted like it was purchased from KFC. Very disappointing for my first time there.

First time there to try out the food. smh. The worst customer service I come acrossed so far. Highly recommend they take customer service 101. The food was okay not to die for. I will not be going back there anytime soon.
