I seriously dont understand the 5-star reviews. Mediocre Chinese/Japanese food. I am rating it lower due what I believe are several deceptive advertisements and claims. This is not an Asian fusion restaurant. There is Chinese menu and a Japanese menu. I did not see a single dish that could be considered fusion unless you include the Americanization of said cuisines. They claim to serve organic sushi. Fish doesnt go through organic certification. So is it just the vegetable rolls? Even then I have my doubts. The last strike is I never trust a place offering $1 oyster happy hour. Dont be fooled by reviews.

Incredible. I went here with my boyfriend Dave and we had such a great time. The Mai Tai set my mood off just right. We had Seafood Salad, Crab Rangoon, Orange Beef and Chicken Pad Thai. Everything we ordered was fresh and amazing. It was really busy in there and still we got our food very quickly. The host and hostess greeted us by opening the door and welcoming us in. I am so glad that they opened a new location in Beverly. If you havent tried Gourmet Garden yet take my word and put it on your to do list. Especially if you are a foodie!

We were there for their first day of business - pre grand opening, so you might expect some hiccups in service, but everything was great. Food was excellent, especially the sushi (best in the area thus far), with the food served piping hot. Service was very fast, and the restaurant was nicely appointed with high ceilings and appropriate lighting. We didnt sit at the sushi bar yet -- well try that next time. Main food service area is separate from the bar area which is very welcome (although there is seating in the bar area too).

I ordered take out from the dinner menu. It was ready when I arrived fifteen minutes later. Very friendly service. Well packaged. Attentive. The orange beef was tender and delicious, fresh tasting, with lots of broccoli. The side of egg rolls included two large, fresh, not greasy egg rolls. I would have given five stars, but I was disappointed with the hot and sour soup. I thought that it was tasteless, and only took a few spoonfuls. I definitely would order from here again!

First and last time ordering here. Ordered pickup and requested extra hot mustard, got a pint of ducksauce, a whole 6 crab Rangoons with maybe a teaspoon of mix in the wonton,deep fried squid in a plastic container so everythings soggy,havent even tried the other puny amount portioned food. should of thrown the $52 in the trash, would of taken up less space then the food.

Used to be great, until the last two times ordered orange chicken from them, the chicken was insanely pink and undercooked on the inside. The second time I called them up to let them know and they told me that theyre chicken is "precooked" and there is no way that it can be uncooked. The pink chicken sitting in front of me begs to differ.

Stopped by for a wonderful lunch. The soup was very good, but the real star was our Egg Foo Yung. Outstanding, and served with an amazing sauce. Again, it was a great sauce, and not the brown muck that Ive gotten in most other restaurants. The plating was first class. An excellent lunch for a very reasonable price.

Great service! Drinks arent weak. Food fresh and delicious. We had the spicy crab rangoon, summer delight, imperial delight, and duck fried rice. Cant wait to go back to try more items

Awesome food thats on the healthier side but not overly healthy so it tastes great is you like Asian food and the service is perfect for families, dates and just dining alone
