We are traveling through the area, and this restaurant was nearby. The reviews were good, and we prefer family-owned places, so we stopped in for a late dinner. Wow, you get a lot to eat with their combo meals! Their massive roast beef sandwich (meal #3) was delicious, and my husband loved his clam strips special. They have a big menu of other items-- various sandwiches, fish, and more. Id say the prices are right for what you get. The atmosphere is very laid back-- good for carryout or dine in. Several people came in to order carryout while we were there eating.

Ordered a junior beef on a roll a regular beef on a roll with 2 sides of BBQ sauce and a small onion ring.....got a large pastrami sub junior beef and mozzarella stick with marinara sauce????? What the heck!!!!the sub had VERY OLD dried out pastrami and the rest of someone elses order wasnt much better! Will never return to this place again. The very best, beautifully cooked, lean and flavorful roast beef in the entire Boston area. The Souvlaki or Chicken KaBob salad is a weekly treat here, as well. In fact, whenever we have a family get-together I order Souvlaki and Greek salad for the crowd. The steak subs are also amazing. My family and I have never been disappointed at Bedford HOuse of Roast Beef and were sure youll enjoy it as much as we do!

Lunch lines out the door speak volumes for the roast beef, chicken and beef kabobs, and the house and Greek salads. This family-run eatery offers good food at a reasonable price and has a loyal following that goes back at least a decade. (Yes, I am one.) . Look for the daily special, My favorites: Wednesday grilled chicken sandwich and Fridays haddock special.

This place is "the place" for the locals to get takeaway or eat in for lunch or dinner. They take & fill orders very quickly.The order takers shout out your order and the staff are filling it before you get the order out.I love the roast beef & onion rings. They are known for both.

Get Jacks Special - roast beef with lettuce, cheese, pickle, relish & horseradish sauce. Its not on the menu board. Its a tough choice between that and the gyro so sometime I just get both. The dinners are delicious but you will need to factor in a post-meal nap.

Friendly staff, fast service, great subs for cheap. I used to get the large chicken cutlet every day. only 6.25 for a real big sub. My company moved locations and I miss the place. One of the best pizza/sub places I know of.

Delicious roast beef sandwiches. Crispy, tasty fresh french fries. From the outside it looks simple, but theres big flavors to be had inside. Its a short distance from the Old North Bridge and the Minuteman Memorial.

Right under $9 gets you a large roast beef sandwich with small fries. The fries are actually quite large--maybe a medium or large from McDs. Fast service, juicy roast beef. Definitely a buy!
