As long as I taught and lived over here, I NEVER thought to visit. Hell, I didnt think that Kent Island would have a nice sushi place. It wasnt until I moved away that I decided to eat here. The lunch specials were AMAZING! 4 rolls for $10!!!!!! I love sushi and bargain. Since it was so cheap, I didnt expect much. I was wrong! Their sushi was great! I had two cucumber rolls with cream cheese and two asparagus rolls with cream cheese. My dining companion had the dragon roll. It looked super cute! Like me, he was pleased with his selection. Our server was attentive the whole time, but she wasnt hovering. In addition, she was very helpful with the various selections on the menus. Ichiban had an awesome wine and beer selection, and I had a sweet plum wine. Yum! If I am in the area, I am surely coming back! It is great sushi at an awesome price.

Ordered chicken katsu in a hurry and although the chicken was great, the rice was not Japanese. It also tasted like it had not been washed. But the main reason for the low rating is that we were in a hurry for lunch to go and the server had said 5-10mins so we ordered. Food finally arrived 25 mins later.

This is one of the best small restaurants Ive ever had the pleasure to dine at. Always so friendly, polite and ready to serve. Fantastic food and the edamame are delicious. Have tried almost everything on their menu and have been more than satisfied in all aspects. It is a must try spot.

Shhh. Dont tell anyone that this "Golden Nugget" is right in our back yard. Great sushi, food & staff is so helpful at answering & suggestions. Had many "new" sushi eaters and they ALL left w/smiles on their faces.
