Starbucks at 503 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD - This is not one of my more favorite stores... but I have been to this Starbucks location at least 1 or 2 dozen times previously because its a convenient stop for some of my travel. On Sat. 8/30/2014 I walked in at 3:45pm (I had an appt. at 4:15pm) and ordered what I "always" order... a venti Blonde roast (pour-over). After nearly 18-20 minutes later I finally got the beverage! I had tried to get the attention of any one of the "SIX" people working there without success. Sure, they looked at me waiting but didnt say anything let alone acknowledge that they saw me waiting. Finally, the girl who took my order originally came over and asked what I was waiting for... I told her. She got a sort of "disgusted" look on her face as if I was "bothering" her. She finished my order, set the dripping, messy cup down in front of me and said: "there you go..." in a somewhat demeaning tone of voice. She quickly turned and walked away... No "Im sorry" or any kind of response other than "there you go"? I seriously doubt Ill ever go back to THAT store ever again and I will certainly let others know about my experience there. Honestly, the entire store at that location seems to have a kind of "Dry" personality to it. I frequently visit a non-licensed location inside of a Safeway grocery store in Arnold, Maryland, and Ive NEVER had to wait that long for a "pour-over" and if they do make a mistake, they certainly make it up to me! Its about one of the nicest, friendliest locations Ive "Ever" been to so Ill continue to go there ! Maybe its about time that I return my business back to the "Baltimore Coffee & Tea Co." they do a great job too! So yeah, Twitter, Facebook & every other social media forum... Ill be posting my experience on there regarding this Starbucks location at 503 Ritchie Hwy. in Severna Park, Md.

I visit this location daily and have never had an experience like I did today. I ordered a drink and when I pulled up to the window I was greeted by a teenager named Nick who seemed to be under the influence of something. His nose was even bleeding. He could not remember what I had ordered and proceeded to lean almost into my car just to hear my order again. And then when done just dropped the change in my hand. Didnt tell me how much change and did not give me a receipt. I was made to feel very very uncomfortable. This is not the first employee that has seemed to be under the influence of something that has been working the drive through. There is also a girl that seems to be under the influence every time I come to this location and she is working. I am a substance abuse mentor myself, so this is very sad seeing this before I go into work. This is a very bad look for this establishment if they just continue to hire employees who are altered mentally by an illegal substance while at work.

Inside: this is the best starbucks around, Im in here right now writing this review. The staffs are great and the setting is beautiful! Its spacious, lots of tables, spread out and really just perfect. The outlets in the ground sometimes wont open up - but go see one of the baristas and theyll pop it open for you. They have plenty of tables, chairs, etc. really nothing bad to say about it. Just need easier opened outlets haha. EVERYTHING ELSE INSIDE IS GREAT! Outside: eh, thats where its not as great. The parking sucks, it really sucks! If its a busy day you may have to drive around 2 or 3 times to find a spot...if you are lucky. Dont park at the liquor store across the street, they will come yell in starbucks and tlel you, " move now, or we will have you towed!" The outdoor seating is great though - but too bad they cant improve the parking.

As a student at AACC Im in here on a regular basis. With wifi, ample seating and tables, and a variety of food and beverage options, it makes for a convenient place to meet with classmates, or for solo study time. The baristas are generally friendly and accommodating. Seating areas range from tables& chairs, to comfy easy chairs, to counter style and conference style seating. On the downside: besides the occasional group of oblivious, LOUD teens and tweens, parking can be an absolute p.i.t.a. Ive had to circle as many as 6 times for a spot, and god forbid that you try to wait for a spot to come open! Since the lot is so small, waiting for a spot means you block traffic - and not everyone around here is friendly and/or patient.

This is a relatively new location for Starbucks in this area. I have been consistently going to this location since it first opened I lived nearby and its one of the larger more open layouts. In general Starbucks usually has good to great customer service, however I particularly enjoy visiting "my" Starbucks haha. The staff manages to recognize familiar faces and always gets my orders right. Everything is kept clean and tidy as well. I moved about 35 minutes away and I still make the drive to come to this Starbucks so I figured I would take the time to write them a review, thanks!

Long lines inside and out. No parking. Typical Starbucks. Lol. Random times there is no one then other times it is crazy busy. Just like all other Starbucks on the planet. I drive by and if it is not busy I go in. Otherwise, I hit the McDonalds next to it for a mccafe. They need to have a more reliable supply of non dairy liquids. I use coconut or almond. At least 3 times Ive waited 20 minutes in the drive thru to be told they are out of coconut milk. :( this means Im stuck in the drive through line till past the service window. .. Not cool.

For anyone looking to get some work done this particular Starbucks is the most legit option available, locally. They have a lot of seating, big tables and the internet speeds that I measured were more than 50 Mbps. For anyone that has tried to use the internet at your Panera Breads of the world youll know that its dismal at best. This Starbucks location has clearly made a legitimate internet connection a priority and it seems to be paying off for them as it tends to be pretty busy.

This Starbucks was great when they first opened, but as of lately(Late March) several drinks that I have had from here have come out not having their normal taste. Also a few of them have come out only 1/2 full, just overall seems as though the quality has taken a slump. Hopefully it is only temporary.

I was just "that" guy showing up close to closing time on a Sunday night asking for last seasons drink (PSL) and a breakfast sandwich. I was expecting some annoyance from the baristas, but instead I got the normal chipper / cool service that Ive come to expect from this Starbucks. Thanks!

Good baristas and fast service even though it is a very busy location, especially in the mornings. It is located on the northbound side of the highway, so its prime for Baltimore-bound commuters. Kind of annoying to get to if youre going south because you have to wait at a long light.
