I moved to Salisbury last year and I started buying subs from Red Door. I have eaten there many times. The prices and food were excellent. Today I went there with my fiance for Dinner. We walked in and instead of being greeted by the usual friendly counter person, we stood at the front counter looking at the side of a womans face. She wasnt engaged in anything, it was almost as if she was intentionally ignoring us. After 3 minutes of this, I started reciting my order to the side of her face. Upon hearing my voice, she turned her attention to me; the customer, and let out a loud sigh of discontent. I guess she was distracted by me as I interrupted her from her post afternoon epiphany. Finally I had her attention and she began entering the order into the register. I then asked her if there were any specials. She "pointed" to a sign on the counter without saying a word. After we gave the order, we sat down and waited. We observed FOUR girls behind the counter, and at least 3 men in the back cooking. The girls moved along the front line with the the viscousity of maple syrup. One of these girls however seemed to move much faster than the other 3. Poor soul, towing the line for the inadequacy of the others. Alas, we are only as strong as the weakest link in the chain. 25 minutes later, our 2 subs and cheese fries were finally finished. I thought to myself, "These subs may be magic, considering they seem to be so elusive." Upon opening the container of cheese, I noticed it was half full. Mice I suspect. Then I get to my favorite, the meatball sub. I open up the wrapper and I see 2 things I do not recognize. Upon further inspection I notice they are green peppers and onions. Someone working today at Red Door had a sense of humor. I am 35 years old, and have eaten well over a few hundred meatball heros all over the country. NEVER have I seen green peppers or onions on a meatball sub. I have gotten the same sandwich from there many times. It is always meatballs and cheese only. I could not even disect the sandwich because all the wrong toppings were melted into the cheese, and there was no way I was eating it without the cheese. Well, that will be my last time at this place. And yes, all the religious vomit in the windows offended me a bit as well. Like many wise men say, "Keep your politics and religion to yourself".

First of all this place knows NOTHING about cheese steaks. If you want a plain roll then why not just go buy one at your local supermarket. Besides there being a smidge of cheese somewhere inside the roll, they also forgot the steak too (meaning there was barely any steak on the roll) oh yeah and I think they put fried onions on it somewhere too NOT.. So I pretty much paid $7.50 or whatever it was, for a plain role. The biggest waste of money I ever spent on food. I waited about 1 hour for delivery, had family over from New Jersey (where you can get a REAL cheese steak) when the food arrived both my sandwiches were made completely wrong. They credited me 2 free cheese steaks, which I ordered a few days later for "lunch" by the time the food got here it was "dinner" time. Had I not called back to find out where my food was, I wouldnt have even gotten my delivery. The person I called back to said " uh... yeah, um.. we were trying to *69 to call you back, but it didnt work, we forgot to get your address" Who doesnt have caller ID these days??? (Red Door Subs) I guess. And does their pcs not store addresses of there customers like every other pizzeria does?? So once again, the cheese steak was lousy, I couldnt find the cheese, the steak or the fried onions in the roll, and it was cold.. NEVER AGAIN will I order from this joint. Save your money and go somewhere else.. Take a ride to NJ if you wanna REAL CHEESE STEAK!

Quantity of Food - Substantial Quality of Food - Average at best Customer Serivice - HORRIBLE..orders are rarely made to specifics, employees ARE NOT friendly Price - High considering quality and service. Red Door has been in business for years. For decades, they thrived as a result of the quality of their products and their customer service. That focus has long since left the building. The quality of the food is TERRIBLE. The only thing worse is the customer service. If you opt for delivery, do not let the driver leave until you have thoroughly checked your order....in all likelihood..it is screwed up and it will take FOREVER for them to correct it. If you eat on site...its an experience somewhere below a dirty McDonalds. Overall, there are plenty of other local eateries with far better quality and service. Consistently a very disappointing

Took 1hr 1/2 to get the first wrong order. I called back to see why I got the wrong order and the TOGO person flat out said I cant help you thats not my job. She put me hold hold for 20mins then finally got to speak to one of the managers. I gave her my order # she read off what I ordered she said no problem we will get that order right out too you. No problem for Ive been in the restaurant business all my life. Another 1hr and 1/2 goes by. I called back to find out where my order is. They said deliver guy just left. Another 20mins goes by... Shows up with wrong order again...... Called back up they are absolutely clueless on whats going on. It like a dam circus good luck on getting your order I highly avoid at all cost. I had to basically beg for a refund back. Ive never had such a bad experience in all my life!

So I order online at Red Door, get a call that they deliver to our street but stops in the 600s, meanwhile we are three houses from the 600s it just changes into 911 address I guess...so mgr tells me we have to draw the line somewhere, ok, but when Robert was managing (God rest his soul),he said no problem we can deliver there because we drive to the road...I had a pretty big order for 4 people and this guys says well we only deliver to the one house because our drivers are enamored with this customer...so now Im directly insulted. Yep the subs are great but inevitably they screw it up with customer service...last time I ordered there it was a joke and its been 3 years, thought they would have straightened up. Guess Jack Stanleys letting his obnoxious manager run the show with no thought of customer feedback.

I ordered a Cheesesteak,ff,drink and slice of cake. I was taking this back to the nursing home for my dad. When the girl gave it to me I ask her if it was a cheesteak sub and she said yes. My mistake I didnt check to see what it was when I arrived at the nursing home the only thing correct about the order was the cake. I had a cold cut sub, cheesestake sandwhich and ff. I called them and they didnt even offer to make things wright she said just bring it back well I was all the way in Princess Anne and my dad was hungry so we ate the cold cut. I am sure that the person that received my order was not happy. I very seldom order from red door and now I know why they to fire the ones working and hire someone that knows what they are doing.
