A Private User

This review is for earlier today at 4:00am. The food was good and my server was great. Howevever, the location needs security (security officer of off-duty police) at the site during the late/early morning hours on the weekends. Of course, thats the time people come to eat after they had partied and drank. In fact, by the time I left, most of the people at the restaurant appeared to fall into the group of 20 something partiers. In the middle of what was an enjoyable meal, a melee broke out. First, a drunk customer passed out and his friends had to carry him out. Second, two guys from different tables got into a heated argument that escalated into a full out brawl. About 10 people were involved in the fight. I was hit with plastic/glass shards from pitchers and other containers that were thrown during the fight. About 10 minutes after the brawl started, at least 8 officers showed up. However, by that time, one side had fled. There was blood on the door and near the scene. An ambulance came to check out at least one of the fighters. Salt was put on the wound by the I-hop manager who was clueless throughout. Moreover, he didnt even show remorse for the customers who had to run out of their seats to avoid injury. After running towards the kitchen (the safest place inside), I grabbed my check and headed toward the manager who was at the cash register. He took my money and acted as if this was an everyday occurrence. No sorry, no comp., absolutely nothing. This is Rockville, not the hood. So, I was shocked by this. All I can say is SECURITY, SECURITY, SECURITY during the hours of 10pm and 6am.

I had the worst experience ever at IHOP. Visited the establishment this evening and ordered the Liver & Onions dinner. The meal comes with a side salad which tasted awful. The lettuce was withered & the salad appeared to have been made a few days ago! When my dinner arrived, the liver was old and tough like rubber, the mash potatotes looked like they were literally "thrown" on the plate and to top it off the waiter dropped the garlic bread on the floor. I sent the entire order back because I had lost my appetite! As if the food wasnt bad enough...when I spoke to the manager on duty, who identified himself as Josh and asked him if I could be compensated in any way (i.e. a discount or whatever he deemed reasonable even if it was during a future visit) he stated that there NOTHING he could do except offer me an apology for the overcooked liver, side salad & waiter dropping my bread on the floor! Needless to say, I will never be returning to IHOP on Rockville Pike and be sure to pass the word to friends and coworkers alike!

My boyfriend and I just finished having lunch. Im usually pretty excited to go to Ihop but not today. Our server Joscelin was good and our food came quick. However, our food was super bland. My eggs tasted like water and my boyfriends pancakes were overcooked. Also my boyfriend ordered coffee and it looked like the jug wasnt cleaned properly. It looked like there was chocolate syrup from the previous user still left on it. Overall, the food was pretty horrible, but we were really hungry so we ate it anyways and just said to ourselves we will never come back to this one.

I am rating this location compared to other IHOP locations, not restaurants in general. This is THE best Ihop in the area. If you have little ones and have not taken advantage of Kids Eat Free...EVERYDAY...then bring them in for hot pancakes between 4 -10PM any day of the week! A trip to IHOP is used as a reward in our home so the fact that we love the service (usually), its clean (for the most part) and its free (for the kids) how could it not get a 5?! If you havent been to an IHOP in a while, try this one!

I surprised my wife and took my wife and kids here for breakfast. We got seated right away so that was nice. The waitress kept rushing us. She checked on us a lot so that was nice but it seemed like more of a business than somewhere nice to relax and eat. The waitress was pushy and it was hard to understand her because of her thick accent. Food was good. Decor was okay but thats only because they left their Independence Day decorations up. Price was good; it cost 28 (without tip) for 4 of us.

My son and his friends went there and when they went to pay the waitress would not split their check. When they sat down to figure it out, a male manager came out and took their money so they tried to leave. The waitress and another woman ran at them and they were both yelling at the 17 yo boys. They accused them of not paying. When it was finally resolved NO ONE apologized to the very embarrassed young men. Send your teens to another location. Terrible experience at this one.

Let me be 100% clear on this. The website AND Google maps says this place is 24 hours on Friday/Saturday. I dropped by after work on Friday at 4am (I work in a lab down at NIH hence why I got out that late) ready for some pancakes. Instead a cleaning person at the door tells me they open at 3PM the next day (Saturday). I dont know the hours exactly apart from 3PM open on Saturday, but this place is definitely not open 24 hours.

Ive came here a few times because of the location to my home but the service is not all that great... Ive ordered fresh fruit twice both times it was very sour obviously not fresh Ive called in orders ahead and the people who answer the phone do not listen ....some can hardly speak English....will not be going back anytime soon!! I will have to be very hungry for some pancakes before I return! Not the best IHOP to visit.

This spot is super nice to eat at! Theres regular tables for 2, 4, 6, 8 or more and there are also booths that are perfect for you if you want a semi-private dine-in experience. If you LOVE breakfast foods then this is your spot to chill & relax in Rockville down the street from Rockville Metro Station. RECOMMENDED!!!

Its been changed in a negative way first of all lots of the famous drinks (splash berry) has been tweaked alot and now it just isnt as cool as it was, the internet here is worse than Mc Donalds slow internet wait let me refrase that there is none so how about you get starbucks and settle at the pancake house

The manager of IHOP was my server today and he was amazing. I love seeing managers who set an example for their workers and do just as much as those around them. He was incredibly nice and was making sure everyone had a good time. I normally never review places but he deserves a shout out!

I had dinner here last night. The was a cockroach on the wall next to us. The manager was near by Told her about she grab a napkin and took it to the kitchen she didnt even say sorry for the inconvenience. = not going back
