We called on Memorial Day to determine if the restaurant would close early. We were told "3 pm". We arrived about 1220 pm after a 20 minute drive from Hampstead. We were then informed, after being seated, that "they were very slow and decided to close even earlier". We were essentially asked to leave as we were not given the option to eat quickly. We left without arguing as another couple in the same predicament was doing after getting the same "3 pm close"....Hooked our children in their car seats and made it about a mile away when my husband decided to call and complain. He spoke w the Chef/mgr. He was informed that "they need to make money and today they are not. He decided to close even earlier. (They) called us to let us know." We had received no call from the restaurant and informed him of that. No vm was left either. The mgr then insisted that "he tried to come out and catch us". We have 2 children to hook in to car seats. No one was "running to catch us". He then told my husband to "have a day" and hung up on him. I have left messages for a return email or call from the owners w/o response. Its been 4 weeks. Very professional. So polite. Stay classy Nacho... You will run this business in to the ground yet!

This was the perfect to meet old friends as I live in Pennsylvania and they came from Harford and Baltimore counties. The atmosphere was fun. Everything we ate has delicious. The ahi tuna salad with wasabi dressing was delicious; we also tried the marghertia pizza and a burger; with garlic nots as our starter. Everything was tasty aand came out reasonably in both time and presentation. The reason for it is not a 5 yet, the menu. If certain items are not available all the time then a fun phrase like "while it lasts" or something like that. There wasnt any brisket for the sandwich; and the watress had to come back for the replacement order (she didnt bring a menu back but she was new to the staff; one of the owners clued my friend in). This happened again when we ordered from the dessert menu. So do a daily menu verus a printed menu for the cutie pies especially. My friends finished theirs so a perfect size for them but too big for me. We will visit again.

We have been here a number of times. The food is generally very good for the price, made with very good ingredients and well prepared. I cannot recall anything that wasnt satisfying and a pleasure to eat. The weak spot with WFK, in my opinion, is the incredibly erratic service and staff. One simply doesnt know what to expect, to the point that I have had several times to get up from my chair to find a staff member for something that should have been dealt with. Id put myself in the middle range of picky and demanding -- I tip very well and I expect the staff to be paying attention. I understand that at busy times you cannot get undistracted service -- thats cool -- but good wait staff knows how to run their tables at all times. The staff here is, I think, high school kids or just after. Its not a reason not to go here, certainly, but be prepared for the potential to be disappointed in the service.

Went there last night to celebrate my brother in-laws birthday and it was the worst experience Ive ever had in a restaurant. Unfortunately for me, I ordered the fish n chips and not pizza like everyone else in our party.They completely forgot my meal. I even asked the waitress if it was soon coming after everyone else had their meals. She assured me it was soon coming out, well 1/2 hour later they say its almost out. I said just forget the whole thing. I didnt feel like eating when everyone else was finished. Not any apologies from management. The waitress did apologize after I had to track her down to find out what was going on. At least they didnt try to charge me for a meal I never got. I know I will never go there again. Its a shame because there arent very many good restaurants in our area. I guess they were just to busy and couldnt handle the crowd.

We had breakfast at Woodfire Kitchen on Sunday for the first time since it has been under new management. We had a chance to meet with the new owner who was very personable, friendly and eager to make this a successful establishment for the community. We had good service and great food amidst a very cozy atmosphere. Especially looking forward to many pizza nights here with BYOB. We will definitely be frequenting this little gem located right in our own back yard!

Service was fast but main dishes like pizza and sandwiches came out before salads. One of our pizzas had a mushy under cooked crust. Our WFK pizza loaded with everything in the kitchen was too sweet. But our group was hiking and we still devoured everything. In and area with few options this is a 4 or 5 restaurant. But there were a few too many poorly timed things and food oddities to give a 4 or higher.

Excellent food and great service. They actually have a wood fired oven for their pie (pizza). Great cozy atmosphere and all around great food. Huge salads with homemade salad dressings and sauces. I had the fish and chips and it was so wonderful. (Brisket is a bit dry though, sorry guys) Still recommend to anyone looking for a great place to dine! Also is BYOB for small corking fee

Food is always good, if a little overpriced. We were happy to hear that the TVs have been turned off and will only be turned on by request. The restaurant itself is small and inviting. The cheesecake is excellent. The previous owners had affixed Bible quotes on the tables; these have been removed, Thank God (pun intended).

Wow, amazing food and great service. Management was super friendly, checked in with us and had nice conversation. The resturant is cozy with a cottage feel. Prices are great (especially compared to other brunch places). This was a central location between our family but worth the trek for a lovely Sunday outing.

Best Woodfire Pizza Ive probably ever had would go back just for the pizza and to try some of the other menu items. French fries came with a very generous portion and were very tasty wait staff was attentive and efficient and the owner Pleasants and personable. Outstanding visit will definitely go back!!

Under new & improved management! Had a GREAT meal there last night. Had the fried Kale appetizer w/the funky chipolte dip- i have never had anything quite like it- was FABULOUS. Crab cake was great, my son loved his hamburger. Very creative menu! You have to try this place!!

Great food. Pizzas are fantastic, burgers are good, place is very clean. Handicapped bathroom set up right. (Might not meat anything to some, but it does to me) service was outstanding. Have been there several times, and will continue to do so.

Great staff, food and atmosphere! I had the burger, medium, with side salad and berry vinaigrette. All was perfect. We also had kale chips for an appetizer, they were awesome! I would absolutely recommend this place!
