First and probably only review i will ever write... First, called to see what tine they closed, phone was answered with a simple "hello" as if it was someones home/cell number. Should of been a hint of what was to come. Went down there to get a simple vanilla milkshake. Got chocolate. Which my stomach cant take. Wasnt greeted upon walking up to counter, customer area had one family, and the place was filthy!!! Tables dirty, trash on floor, and i dont even want to know what the soda area looked like!! I havent been there in about 2 years, nor will i ever go back!! Oh, and there us a 1 dollar fee for " processing" and credit/debit transaction. Yeah, good spot, but the ice cream parlor ob the boardwalk between 5th and 7th st. Is way better!! Never go to dairy freeze!! This was written on April 14th, 2012 at 10:50 P.M.

Was pet sitting over the Fourth of July holiday and while on our evening walk we took the dog over to the Dairy Freez. I waited about 10 minuets before anyone ever even said hello, and it took another 15 just to get my ice cream. In that amount of time I was able to look around at how dirty the place was. The floor was sticky and the soda bar looked like it hadnt been touched all day. Then when I asked if I could have a cup of tap water for the dog the young girl gave me the nastiest look and proceeded to have an attitude the whole 10 minutes it took her to get the water. Whoever owns this place should really hire some better people. Until then I feel like my money is better spent at the other ice cream shop. At least they serve with a smile.

I used to frequent this place relatively often seeing as how I live near by.. But I stopped going completely after I saw the rat traps in the bathrooms below the sick.. I also saw the man in the back making he food making didnt have gloves on, at all.. I was disgusted and then witnessed the owner get in a violent loud argument and run the woman out of the store. I will NEVER EVER return here. For anything!

I give this place 0 Stars if it would let me. I got food poisoning from the french fries here which by the way they cook in the same oil that they cook fish in so if you have a fish allergy definitely dont eat here. And after a brief argument with the manager and owner I still couldnt get my money back with a receipt. F*** this place

I shouldnt be complaining about this, but for some reason i feel like the food is more greasier than it should be. Also of youre going with a family and getting food; be ready to spend $40+
