Great selection of desserts. Custard is different then ice cream or frozen yogurt. It is my favorite of the three. Add the Italian ice and its a knockout combo. The owner and everyone Ive had wait on me have always been very nice. My work has been right next door for the last 4 years so we have been there many dozens of times. My two boys split the milkshake or try new flavors. They give samples to try something different and find a new favorite. The place is always spotless inside and out with nice tables with umbrellas to sit and eat as well as benches. It is within walking distance of CNU but is never too busy and if there is a wait it isnt long. I cant say enough nice things about Ritas.

the gelatis that my wife and i get there are pretty consistently delicious, and the workers at the windows are very courteous and prompt with their service. the manager, however, doesnt seem the most people friendly. my wife and i went there with a mothers day coupon for a free italian ice, the day before mothers day (b/c we wouldnt be able to make it for MD), and he wouldnt let us use it. he also claimed to have student discounts, but that only applies to CNU students, not TNCC students. So, the italian ice is great, the service is great, but the management is rough around the edges.

I would normally give this 5 stars because the Italian ice is the best I have ever had in my life!! So delicious and they put real fruit in them! Unfortunately the kids they hire to take your order are very unfriendly and dont act like they want to be there or help you.. sucks it ruins the experience

The water ice and custard here are DELICIOUS! The owner is very friendly and you can tell that he really cares about his business. The place is always spotless and has nice outdoor seating. It is also very economical compared to other ice cream shops. My husband and I highly recommend!

Love this place. Small town feel with delicious custard, in a cone, in a cup, surrounded by Italian ice, covered in sprinkles, or even on a bed of brownies covered in whipped cream and chocolate syrup. No matter what it is, Ive never been disappointed.

I finally tried Ritas and I really enjoyed the ice cream. It was very silky and perfectly sweetened. The ices are smooth and without big chunks of crystals. They have a very nice selection for you to choose from, even sugar free.

I love ritas ice im from up north so its so nice to have thr luxury of home. I never get less than a quart. It was so hot last week I got a gallon of mango and Swedish fish. It was amazing.

Amazing combinations of shaved ice and custard. It is not the same as ice cream; its thicker and creamier with less sugar. But for a lighter treat on a hot day, Ritas cant be beat!
