It was my sons gradation, The Party did not, and could not arrive on time. I elected to be seated unbeknown to me that if I sat down, the later arriving party members would not be able to sit with us. My husband, son and I sat down, shortly after that about 10 mins, my daughter and grandchildren arrived and were told they hadt o wait 20-25 mins to be seated and they could not sit with us....... When I got up to see what the issue was the Lady at the front very RUDELY explained their policy about guest not arriving together. The LADY was very RUDE... raised her voice, began speaking in her language to the other person behind the counter. My daughter began to cry and my sons Graduation dinner was RUINED!!!! I will NEVER PATRONIZE this establishment ever again. Just RUDE communication.

I hadnt been here in a while. I didnt want to believe the reviews,but its true. The food has gotten really bland. Perhaps it was the chef i think he was green. I asked for medium on the steak and received it well done. I do like my steak still alive And bleeding a little and he burnt my mushrooms. Still okay though. Just wont stay to eat here if the same chef cooks for us next time. I guess Ill be going to the Germantown location instead so as not to be let down. The salad was beautifully presented, but the hot tea was really watered down. For dessert they only had one option which was cheesecake(two thumbs down). Also false advertisement on the mug we would of liked to purchase with our drink. Fyi they still use Styrofoam lol.

Bathrooms kinda gross. The sushi special for 2 was about the same quality as chinese buffet sushi (cold imitation crab stick as a sashimi, the roll was more of the same crab stick with under ripe avocado, and the sushi rice was noticebly crappy). All the fish felt... old? The textures just didnt feel right compared to other sushi places Id been. And while the presentation was nice, it didnt make up for everything tasting just okay. Everything else (soup/salad) was standard or just under standard for the price. Unsure how the hibachi part is, but I definitely do not recommend the sushi. If they arent going to put the effort into it they should scrap it and focus on being a full-on hibachi place or something.

This restaraunt was beautiful and was designed and decorated outstandingly well. The entire restaraunt smelled like green tea which was a nice surprise. The chef was attentive. He was more layed back and didnt really show off as much as is normal but he was engaging and polite with everyone. It was seemed a relatively slow Thursday. The food was well seasoned. The tea was better than Ive had in a long while. My issue was with the steak. After prep and cooking large cubes of fat still ended up on my plate. More so than what I would consider acceptable. Great place otherwise. Definitely would go back.

Manager and other service was good. But the chef i think he is from Indonesia a tall guy. He ruined our daughters birthday.. He didnt say hi or not even looked at us. Served the food only after 2 families on the table. just behaved as a racist. I have been there before and the chef was hilarious and very polite. This time i really dont know whats wrong with the chef, I will never go to that place again.

For a Japanese steak house this was OK. I liked the group I was with so the time was good and friends were happy. Certainly worth trying as each person has their own tastes, The sauces can be heavy and rich which I happen to enjoy. Dont think I would eat here every night but is on our list of places.

On the dingy side and the food and service were mediocre. Both me and my girlfriend had to spend some time on the toilet afterwards. I dont know about the hibachi side but Ill never be going back for the sushi. Go to Sake a little up the road and get a much better experience for the same price.

Dont ever go to this place!! Its horrible...the customer service is horrible, the place is very dirty, and the food is cooked by a Mexican (no disrespect, Im not racist by any means) and this is a Japanese restaurant. Its supposed to be known for the whole Japanese vibe, how does that work?!?!

The food was mediocre at best. The flavor was bland and the sauce tasted very rich in fatty substances. The sizes of the pieces could be larger or cut differently, so to not make it look like a dish a college student would make.

Paid 25$ for them to give me a shrimp teppan with a couple centimeters high of Grease in my container. Guess it was sesame oil they cook everything in. The plus side is I got a large amount of shrimp.

The food use to be really good. The restaurant could use an update. For some reason each time I go, they increase the amount of oil that they cook with. Which cause a huge stomach ache :(
