Ok, so I used to come around here a lot over the past couple years. Everything that was said about the owner is TRUE! He is disrespectful and does add extra stuff on your tab. I remember that a couple of beers were $2.50 then jumped up to $3.50 the following week. There is nothing but bar tramps there that go home with different dudes every weekend. You can definitely spot them out. A few of them dress like they live in hollywood! If you are looking for a quick fix, this is your kind of place! The bikers werent that bad..it was the atmosphere in general that kills it. Most of the bartenders have no clue whats going on. The bar also lets kids in past 9pm. There was a 4 year old in there till almost 2am?? What kind of place is that??? I am definitely surprised it hasnt been shutdown yet. It is a hole in the wall or maybe a hole in a dumpster. I will never go back again and i feel sorry for the people that like this place. There is a million other crab shacks/bars out there that you will get decent service, decent management and decent atmosphere!

This was the first review I ever wrote on an eatery and I didnt even get to eat there yet. My wife called to make a reservation for crabs and after he gave her the selection of crabs available she handed me the phone so I could talk to the fellow. I wanted to ask him where they get their crabs (LA or MD) his reply "the water,where do you think?" I than asked what the available sizes were, his reply "I already told your wife". Theres too many other places that treat their customers with respect and courtesy, obviously business is really good for them right now. I would suggest customers run away and yspend their money in places that treat them like a customer! As you can see Im not the only one complaining about the rudeness with the staff, read the other reviews!

Basicaly a biker dive. If your not dressed like you ride a harley dont even bother going. Bartender was also the waitress who seemed super bothered that we would even think about getting lunch there. So we decided to leave the dinggy place and the bartender who looked like a tractor trailor ran her over. Who am I to keep her from attending to the pissbeer drinking, leather and jeans wearing, dream batchelors sitting at the bar. We did get a 5lb box of frozen shrimp there. Good Shrimp!

I was a regular patron but will never return again. The owner has no clue on how to run an establishment. Allows his help for a lack of better word to insult customers & they have been caught twice inflating our tab. There are other regulars that have caught them doing the same. The owner Steve is arrogant and does not allow loud music in the bar. I guess he thought he bought a church. With an economy like we have I guess he doesnt worry about customer retention.

"Winters Run Inn" is a true locals hangout with a history going back to the Prohibition era. I did not enjoy their popular crabs, but I did enjoy the atmosphere and the service. Friendly "neighborhood" kind of place. If crabs are your game this is the place. The other food offerings are pretty good for bar food. I wish that there were more craft type beers on draft. Our server was very efficient and was working very hard while we were there. Prices for crabs and other foods are reasonable. Drinks are very reasonable. We have been there before and we will go back.

Awesome food and a great atmosphere. The service was also very good and the owner came by to ask if everything was fine. We were there on a Thursday evening so there wasnt live music. I dont think I would go for dinner if a band was playing because I like a quite dinner. But overall this is a pretty nice place were you can relax and enjoy a very good meal and a fair price.

Jus went last night for crabs! They were good, we also ordered a salad and cream of crab.. the soup was good salad was Awesome! The service was very good, the 2 young ladies were right on top of things! Didnt wait long for anything! I WILL be going back! Had a great time! Bathrooms were very clean

Spent 98.00 on Crabs (12) 2 pieces of corn and a cup of crab soup. Mentioned to two waitresses that the crabs didnt taste right. I ate 1 crab and 2 claws, 1 piece of corn and soup. Neither, while nice, cared at all. Rushed home to throw up everything and felt sick all day today.

Bought 2 dozen large crabs last night and they all had an ammonia smell to them. Told server about smell and her response was that happens sometimes. After researching issue its the result of the crabs not being fresh.

Wonderful place. Stopped in just to pick up crabs as theyre one of the few places to still have them this late in season. Had a shrimp salad sandwich that was DELICIOUS! Great atmosphere. Cant wait to go back.
