I had not been to this place in awhile. Usually I go in to sit and eat, but have also gotten "to go" orders at the bar before this. Last nights "to go" order at the bar was pitiful. First of all they were not busy, and I was ignored by the 2 girl bartenders. I had to ask about 3 times before I got my drink which was so overfilled it spilled all the place I had to ask for napkins to clean the mess off myself, the bar and the glass. No apology, nothing. They both disappeared again for 10 minutes (there was about 3 people at the bar). I could hear them talking loudly in the back. Again after they floated around the bar for about 5 minutes and didnt ask if I was ready to order, I had to literally demand to place an order which the one girl had to ask the other if she had started a tab for me and then acted like I was being a pain when she took my order and said "its going to be awhile". Then they disappeared again. 45 minutes later my she dropped the bag with my food in front of me, no ticket to pay, as if I just wanted to sit there with my food getting soggy and walked away again. I kept asking for someone to give me my bill so I could pay and get out of there. Both bartenders were at the end of the bar by the kitchen area talking to each other and other employees when I finally got ones attention and she gave me my receipt and walked away again when I had cash in my hand! I wanted to pay and get the Hell out of there, by then it had been over an hour! My husband came in after waiting in the car and said "whats taking so long?". So after 10 more minutes, I just left the $20 bill on the bar, forced to leave a $1.10 tip on the bar that they didnt deserve and walked out. This place could use a spot on Restaurant Stakeout because nobody is minding the store and the service sucks. Plus when I got home to eat my burger, it was so soggy and greasy I couldnt eat but a 1/4 of it. They didnt even fire-grill it as usual. Im calling the manager this morning about this experience. But I think this place has really gone downhill.

Usually, Longhorn is where we go for a casual dinner out, but our last experience there was pretty sad. While being seated, we asked for a booth, and were told by the host that the booths were shut down for the night, so no. That immediately put a damper on the night, although our server was happy to accommodate us when we asked again. The food took way too long to come out, considering it was on a Sunday evening and the dining room was less than half full. Entrees came out first, though we hadnt even gotten our salads yet, and my and my husbands steaks were verging on well done, rather than medium, and his - too salty. I had asked for just salt and pepper on mine, but it came out drenched in butter and my sweet potato totally burnt on the bottom, but by the time we got our food we were starving, so we didnt send it back. Hopefully this was just the "B" team, and not what we should come to expect at Longhorn. Such a shame, because we could have gotten chewy steak and the same level of service a lot closer to home, and saved ourselves the hours worth of driving to and from Longhorn. The time before last, we had excellent service, food came out fast and perfectly cooked despite a packed dining room, and our server was awesome. For this reason alone, we might go back...in hopes that this less than optimal experience was just a fluke.

Went with daughter and 2 grand kids. One wanted mac and cheese and the only mac and cheese they offer is Kraft crap. I could have fed that to her at home for a fraction of the price. Then it came out still frozen in the middle. Waited at least 10 minutes for the waitress to come back. She came took mac and cheese back and it was still cold. She was nowhere to be found so sat waiting for her to return. Snagged a passing manager and she took back and made sure it came out warm but the rest of us were done eating and my granddaughter was full eating off from our plates while she was waiting. We were stuck in a corner by the kitchen and the waitress was never around. Dont care to go back. Our steak were good though but service was lousy.

Always have had great food and service, tonight is another story...I was told by the waitress it was my fault my steak was not cooked properly....she came to the table within 10 secs of someone else bringing out the food and quickly said "how is it" then did not come back for more then 10 mins....I told her I no longer wanted the steak and it is never right if recoooked.....she said "well I asked you how it was" and you said it was fine, she made me feel as though I was in the wrong and really upset me. It is wrong to spend your money and have someone do this too you.

My husband and I were so hungry late at night and were looking for a good steak cooked to perfection and longhorn exceeded our expectations! We both had the flat iron Portobello steak and I had the specialty black and blue margarita which had blackberries and blueberries in it. We even decided on dessert and had the Apple pie goldrush dessert. We were worried that coming in so late we might not have the best experience but it was so good everyone was so nice and we will be back. So so yummy.

My family and I came here for my fathers birthday. We were NOT pleased with the service.The waitress was not prompt while waiting on us. She did not clear the tables, we were forced to eat our dinner with our dirty appetizer plates taking up space. Then when it came time to get a birthday song for my father, the waitress slipped my dad his ice cream behind the rest of the staff, who were singing to another table. We were also seated in the corner, next to the door.

We Did call ahead seating, still had to wait 15min. To be seated.which isnt awful bad considering its normally at least a 50 min. Wait.Waited over an hour for our food which was the most over cooked, dry chicken I have ever eaten! Our waiter was very nice, but very rushed. They seemed to be extremely under staffed. And the bill!! I spend less on groceries to feed my family for an entire week! We will never make the mistake of eating there ever again!

Stopped today at 3:30p.m. Didnt appear to be terribly busy, upon walking up to the desk the young ladies there ignored us, didnt make any effort to make eye contact, showed us to our seats. Then the server, Wow! I have never been spoken to as rudely and loudly as she. Because we were asking questions regarding menu items this server came back with childrens menus stating that "maybe this would help us make our decision better and that it is cheaper"

Today was a waste of money. I stopped for lunch in Hagerstown - my salad had 99% lettuce and 1% vegetables my baked potatoe was old hard and not even hot. I usually eat at Longhorn in Columbia I was very surprised about my experience at Longhorn in Hagerstown. My waitress didnt even ask if there was a problem although she saw I ate no potatoe and not even 1/2 of my steak and left the bowl full of lettuce .
