What can I say? I have lived in the neighborhood behind this restaurant since 2001, and they were there even long before that (owner told me since 1991-92? maybe, there was a "Red Barn" there before them lol). In that time I dont think Ive ever seen a slow day at this place. By now theyre a Hagerstown local fav. I went there as a kid, place has a nice warm, late 80s, early 90s chinese food atmosphere, which I always found to be nostalgic and cool without being dated. Food is typical chinese food you would receive anywhere else (chicken and broccoli, general tsos, etc.) but is consistenly good, warm, and served with a more "nice evening out, fine dining" kind of feel. Cant go wrong with this place, seriously. Take the word of Hagerstown local. Trust me, some staples around here are WAY overrated and at times kind of cheesy at best, but this one has aged like a fine wine. Like great chinese cuisine?....Want to take your date or family out for a nice meal?....This is the place to go. You wont regret it my friend!

i enjoy eating there and ordering out.Staff is friendly and always asks how my family and I are doing. Great food and promptly. my hubby likes the spicy generals tsos chicken and usually gets it extra spicy. I like vegetable with chicken added fried rice.But anything they have is great and worth the try!

They changed my daughters order only because shes a kid and they didnt ask. She also had hair in her food and wouldnt eat it which I wouldnt either. Told them twice I didnt want hot tea and they brought it anyway. Dtay away frim this place

Weve only eaten here like 5 or so times. The little old lady still freaking remembers us, its crazy. The prices arent bad, food is normally fast and good. And that little old lady left an impression on us. Wish we could go more often.
