We were rather disgusted that one of the staff members apparently must have just gotten off work, & decided to come into the bar area to comb, brush, & continually fluff his extremely long hair while talking with a female staff member who had apparently just gotten off work as well. Where they were standing was approximately 5 feet from the main walkway for the food runners to walk out the food from the kitchen. The specific staff member was continually putting his hair up in a ponytail, & then he would take it back out, to brush, comb, & kept fluffing it multiple times over, & over again for approximately 20 minutes while patrons were still sitting at tables within 5 feet away still eating dinner. Of course after he finished with his hair for the last time, he left it up in the ponytail, & then proceeded to go into the restroom, (Im assuming to see how it looked). You would think that he would have just went into the restroom in the first place to handle his grooming needs instead of possibly affecting others. Hair follicles, dirt, dust, & particles in general, travel much farther than most people realize. I can only imagine that he must have had a date, or something, because then he finally left the restaurant.

My cousin and I took our mothers and grandmother out on Saturday decided to go eat here at Green turtle services was horrible we waiting 45 mins and still no food. I ask our sever to get a manger (manger never came ) 10 mins later our food come out by someone else explain we didnt want the food had waiting to long and the food look terrible like they had just put anything on the plates. Then I go to the hostess asking for the manger she never come out neither did a manger. I walk to the kitchen entrance told another gentlemen I need a manger still no manger standing waiting finally he comes out I explain what happen and all he says is that he just came in to work and was we sitting at the booth. Very unhappy with this place I will never come back here again....If your looking for good service and dont have to wait an hour for your food dont eat here...

I enjoy Green Turtle, but this particular restaurant location is horrible. I saw a sign by the hostess saying there was a peach crush drink special. I wanted to order a hibiscus tea and they were out. So I decided to order a peach crush special on the board out front by the hostess. Apparently the special only applied in the bar, but the sign did not communicate the drink was a happy hour / bar special only special. The drink I wanted to order was also not displayed on the happy hour menu. I ordered the drink and my server rang it up full price. I complained to the manager, who did not acknowledge both the sign was wrong. He also wasnt able to find my drink on the happy hour special menu. My waiter didnt refill drinks and forgot to bring us a side of ranch. Im very frustrated by my dining experience here and do not recommend this location.

I go to Greene Turtle all the time, and will not return to this location. If you are black, you will not be treated with hospitality. The staring began as we walked through the door, the menu was snatched out of my hand with impatience, I guess I didnt move fast enough for the waiter. Apparently black people do not know quality liquor, what was clearly rail whiskey was switched for Jack Daniels. If that wasnt bad enough, the mozzarella sticks came, and clearly had sat for awhile and was refried. No cheese in the middle, super greasy. While the manager was very polite, he did not offer any compensation for a future visit, although he did remove the offending items from the check. Since it was clear the waiters attitude was that black people dont pay for service, he was given a 50% tip on a $20 bill. We will not be returning.

I agree with what someone else said. .. I also enjoy green turtle but this location really needs help! I had a hamburger a couple days ago and wanted well done. After the first couple bites it became more rare. The waiter wasnt coming around so I thought I would tuff it out. Well I got about half done and just couldnt finish because it was just too rare. After waiting another 15 minutes (we were long finished ) waiter finally came and didnt seem to care but asked did I want desert lol I got my check and saw that nothing was deducted from my bill. .. not one cent off the 48 dollar ruined meal... I asked to speak to the manager and he told me that since I had eaten half I would receive no discount.PLEASE NOTE GREEN TURTLE I LIVE ABOUT 1000 FEET FROM YOUR ESTLASHMENT I WAS A REGULAR CUSTOMER !!!

I had the salmon and it was dry. They didnt put any type of glaze on it. Food took Long time to come out. Build your own Cheeseburger was totally wrong. Order extra patty and bacon. They are just sent a single with no bacon. Sent it back and everyone else was finish before i got the order. It to was very dry. Think they leave it under the warming lamp way too long. Sent it back and just ordered chicken tenders to go. The server had no personality. Didnt try to upsell at all. Didnt even ask if we wanted appetizers. He seemed overwhelmed. Would i visit again...not on a Saturday. It appears that you all perform poorly under pressure.

My coworker and I stopped in here for lunch today at 11:30, the place was mostly dead. We where seated quickly and our order was taken fairly quickly. The prices are pretty steep, average of around $10/$11 for just appetizers. I settled on cheese fries, which isnt on their menu but they said they could do it anyway. The food came out twenty minutes later and my cheese on the fries was completely burnt on the top, it was only edible under the crust of burnt cheese. My coworker seemed to like his burger though. Waitress checked on us once and never refilled waters. I would never come back to this location. It left me wanting more.

We are from Hampton, Va...came up this way to go to the game and decided to stop at The Green Turtle. Upon entering we were greeted by a server... he practically forced us to sit in the bar area...because it was happy hour...we take a seat...no one greeted us....a man who appeared to be the manager came over and asked if anyone had come over to the table...we replied no...he proceeds to get us menus and silverware....still no waiter/waitress...as a server this is definitely a no-no....after about 6 or 7 minutes a lady comes over drinks in her hand and asks us if we were ready to order....

Went to this Greene turtle today and was highly impressed!!! I went in expecting an enjoyable experience but I got so much more. As I walked through the door I was promptly greeted by our host, Michael. He had a great smile and I was impressed by his attitude and customer service. He walked us to our table and promptly asked us, "would you like to sit here?" How could I refuse? The table was in a great location and his professional was excellent. I cannot wait to come back and I will definitely be looking forward to seeing Michael again.
