After 9 month later we go back to the same place food come out slow and we go there because we got email from iHop said one Kids eat free every day with adult entree and got one kidsmeal free. so we thought let give them one more try. That is wrong decision we make, before we order our entree I ask the waitress could we use the coupon and he didnt know he said need to show the manager. Few mins later I hear his manager told him to tell us it is ok we got coupon. Then we start order waitress we have is nice and take the order fast. But our food didnt come out for 25 mins and 10 mins for 3 cups of hot chocolate. The food is just ok not good!! When we got our check the kids meal didnt take of from it and he tell me the front desk will taking care of it. Then we went up to pay our bill and show the coupon to the front desk and she said we can use it. It only for Tuesday. But on the coupon said every days and I told her the manager said ok. Then she check with the manager again and he came out said he did not said that is ok to use and keep said it is not for everyday just Tuesday. He told me they are not follow the offer iHop posted or offer the customer got from email from iHop. I show him on the coupon showed everyday and that is on ihop website as well. Then he said he can do it "just for this time!" I feel like that we ask for something that they didnt offer and sound like we made it up try to get free stuff for nothing. Do not go there they will not accept Coupon that is from their own company. 11/11/16 First of all, our waitress was very slow and not friendly. We have to wait 30 mins for our food to come out. If we didnt ask for it I think we have to wait other 30 mins. There are unlimited pancake but each re-fell will take 10-15 mins. Also one of the order with sunny side up eggs can be cooked little time the egg white still clear. As them to re-cook the egg it took other 15 mins. I dont think the sunny side up egg need 15 mins to cook. We are used to go the this IHop they are closer and used to be good and fast service. I dont think we will go back there anytime soon. When we paid the manager ask how is the dinner tonight I told him the food come out slow and service is bad. Then he discount my bill but that is how to keep your customer. Because of the manager I will give this iHop 2 start otherwise will be one start...!

Food was good - standard and what youd expect from IHOP. The reason for two stars is the awful service. We were one of only five or six parties in the entire restaurant, and there were four servers working. Our particular server had two tables. I watched. TWO TABLES. Yet we still never got drink refills unless we asked when he actually decided to show up at our table (i.e. once to take our order, once to bring our food, and once more to bring our check), he never came to check up on us to see if we needed anything (which we did), and I constantly saw him standing around, leaning against the wall, talking or playing on his phone, while our drinks sat continuously empty and we needed condiments or whatever else. It finally got to the point where I asked for a refill of my drink to go because I was damn thirsty and our server could not have cared less about us. Im normally a big tipper, leaving upwards of 30-40% tips for good service, but only left a $3 tip on a $30 check because it was really THAT bad. The cashier was very apathetic as well. The only pleasant person in the place that we encountered was the manager. Terrible. The food was pretty good, though.

The host was extremely rude when guiding me to the table. Dropped off the menu at my table, kept on walking and never once looked back to make sure I was informed of the menu or the server. The server walked around and addressed two tables that were seated after me. The server came after a fifteen minute wait and the HOST came to get me my drink after I stared at the manager. This establishment needs better organization in order to not only serve but to acknowledge the guest. Its an IHOP but the standards shouldnt be this low. Ive been coming here since high school so not my first time but its probably my last time at this location.

Wife and I were going to get brunch on Saturday. We started at IHOP of rockville, but they had a 30 minute wait. We called IHOP of Gaithersburg and they had a 15 minute wait. We made a reservation and drove to Gaithersburg. When we arrived, we got a seat (no wait). We got fluffy pancakes, sausage, hash browns, and chicken Florentine crepe. The food was good and had great texture. We also got coffee and hot chocolate, which were both good. They gave us the food within 20 minutes. We were satisfied, impressed, and will come back. And we will tell our friends! Thank you, team at Gaithersburg IHOP!

Best service ever, my waitress was amazing, attentive, flexible, supportive, patient. I was super hungry searching for a crepe place that turned out to be some catering business around there I never did find. So meal mostly hit the spot, big portions, disturbing flavored corn syrup selection as one would expect of large corporate chain, tasty, but FR toast bread and pancakes lacking the subtleties of boutique dining...always something just a big bit off. But I was hungry, it satiated, and Im grateful for the service and the meal. I dont expect to go back for another 10+ yrs, but, you never know.

I received burnt crepes and I told the waitress to bring new ones. Then she told me she knew they were burnt, but waited for my opinion. She should never have served them to me in the first place knowing they were burnt. In addition, I asked for crispy hashbrowns and those were lightly fried. When I sent back my burnt crepes and my not crispy hashbrowns, they gave me back the same hashbrowns after 10 minutes, no change at all and I had to send them back again, but the crepes were a lot better.

Been here a few times but not very fond of the place. Came in today with my kids and was taken to our seat quickly. The only problem is no one attended us after 20 plus minutes and 2 other people sat after us were attended. Its not like the place was busy either. It was pretty empty and no one decided to come attend us or see if anything was up. Probably wont be coming to this establishment again. Horrible, horrible service (if there was any service given).

My family and I walked in greeted nicely by the 2 hostesses, it was a busy weekend morning and was crowded and there was a wait, but completely understandable. We were seated and our waitress came to us quickly and she was very friendly and attentive. There were rude customers towards the employees, but they dont realize how hard they have to work during busy hours of a popular restaurant. All in all food was amazing and good service.
