The food was great we had a table of 5 all got different things and they all were done good and the food cook time was not very long. However the marylyn Monroe stuff is everywhere and looks bad. The floor needs recarpeted the ceiling tiles need replaced and the seats need redone it just looks trashy. Now the worst part was the service not very good at all very friendly but not professional, and we had to sit around when we were done eating for 15 minutes to wait for our check. So when we finally got our check when you go to pay their credit card machine must be still using dial up because it took 3 minutes for every transaction to go thru. So overall I would say if they made some improvements it would be a great place to go but as it is I would say go only if you want to wait for service and wait to leave which honestly sucks because the food was good done right fast and tasty.

Me my wife and sister in law visited the Elkton dinner for breakfast last week, the food was just okay nothing great but just okay, the waitress we had was tall and thin with blondish brown hair was okay at first , my husband had made the comment to the tall waitress that waited on us about the diner being under new management, the waitress preceded to tell me my wife and sister in law that it was being ran by Turkish Muslim isis people and that they were no good to which my sister in law is married to a very nice Muslim man I was very uncomfortable about the way the woman that worked there was talking about her own place of employment not to mention my sister in law was very upset with her rude comments about Muslim people other than that the food was just okay but I will not step foot into the Elkton diner where my family is going to feel uncomfortable thanks , Dave

I was here a few months ago and the service was terrible. I had to ask passing help for refills, my bill and condiments. When I left I called the business and asked to speak with the manager to describe my experience. The "manager" was rude. She told me my server was the best server they have and I was wrong on what I was reporting to her. My food was cold by the time it made it to the table and I went my entire dinner without a drink because my server was M.I.A. yet thats their best server and I the customer was in the wrong, interesting. I will not return nor will any of my family or friends.

The Times Ive Spent Here Always Had Good Memories. Ive Been Many Times. The Last Few Times The Food Was Really Good The Service Was Really Good The Athmosphere Was Always Interesting The Owners Must Really Have Been Facinated By Marilyn Monroe Though Shes Everywhere If Your Really Hungry, This is The Place to Go Because The Portions are as Big as a Car

Walked in, promptly seated by friendly hostess. Went to crud from there. Male waiter acted like we were a bother interfering with his talk of football with other staff. Never came back to take our order. Finally we got up and left. Not a word to apologize and save the sale. Noticed how dirty the place was as we were leaving.

Not bad. We stopped here because our favorite place was closed and found the food to be satisfactory and the staff to be friendly and helpful. It seems to be popular to the elderly crowd and would be very popular to anyone with a Marlyn Monroe fetishes because the place is lined with nothing but her photos

If you like Marilyn Monroe, there are alto of memorabilia pictures, she has her own room. The food is very good and the service is efficient. Basically a Mom and Pop establishment if you like home cooking. Have tried several different things off of the menu and all have been good.

Breakfast food is good, but the service is inconsistent and sometimes horrid. The owner is not open to feedback either, to say the least. Have witnessed the wait staff yelling at each other more than once (no exaggeration). I guess the regulars customers keep it in business.

Elkton Dinner is a great example of what one thinks of when one thinks diner. Breakfast served all day with attentive service. The Monte Cristo and the Gyro are two excellent choices. Elkton Diner is also renowned for its commitment to its Marilyn Monroe theme

Had a few breakfasts here. Its a diner! Corned beef hash bland... but eggs cooked to perfection. Tabasco bottle on table (nice touch). Efficient, friendly service. Clean. And, did I mention its a diner? Not a 4 star "restaurant?" Good food, reasonable prices.

The food was good, but not great. They have a salad bar and a large selection of menu items. Seems to be very popular with the locals. Could not find a to park in there lot so I parked across the street in the main shopping centers parking area.

The only thing that I enjoyed here was the Turkey dinner. That was pretty good. Never order the Fruit salad... unless you want fruit on a bed of lettuce... Not the best diner in town... Interesting Atmosphere to say the least.

The menu does not match what is online and they have been out of steak sauce for a week and when mentioned it to the manager her old ass got an attitude. Food wasnt all that great anyway steak sauce wouldnt have helped mutch.

Food is pretty good. Just needs some seasoning. If you like your food bland then you will love it. Large portions and inexpensive. Sometimes the servers are friendly and sometimes they act like you need to hurry up and go.

Never had a disappointing meal. Tonight I had a burger and fries. Elkton Diner has the BEST burgers ever and I love their french fries and I never used to like fries. Service was friendly as usual.

Most of the staff are nice, especially Katie. Food was very good. Just be very clear when placing your order. The parking lot is usually full so be prepared to park in the adjacent lot.

My wife got the turkey and stuffing mashed and corn, I got 2 very large broiled crab cakes fries and greenbeans and we both had the salad bar and it was all very good and priced right.
