Really wanted to love Joe digs and I loved their space, the baristas were very friendly, and they have great equipment. But they source from riseup coffee and my espresso, although well executed, tasted charred because of the dark roast that riseup uses. I loved everything about this place because they do almost everything right, and the service was so good I would go back for non coffee items, but couldnt get past the coffee.

Pleasant staff and clean facility. Coffee is dark roast and not necessarily anything spectacular about it. Typical dark roasted American style coffee. Not a third wave place, but if you are looking for a friendly and atheistic place to drink coffee more than you are looking for great coffee, this place is great.

New favorite local coffee spot. Cant go wrong with Rise Up coffee, their special iced butane, or my favorite- the mocha! Not only do they have delicious coffee, great staff, but also a cozy cute spot to hang out, drink coffee, and catch up with friends.

Great atmosphere, very open lay out, doesnt feel cramped like a lot of coffee shops. The coffee is delicious and the staff is very friendly. Probably the best spot for coffee in Edgewater.
