OK....uhmmm....wow....words elude me at this moment.... So please just give me a second..... Ok....so how do I ever begin. This place opens at 11:15am and I arrived at 1:30am, trying to buy some time before my eyelash appointment. Well the establishment was partially packed when I arrived. I opted to sit at the bar where the flat screen televisions were located. I knew there was a problem just by looking at the bartender/waiters face. He seemed annoyed and perplexed. It took him few minutes to acknowledge me, but I wasnt too concerned with that. Once he did acknowledge me, Im guessing by the look on MY face he wanted to vent. He explained that the place had just opened and he was already taxed....uhmm ok. I asked for a Mojito, but he said they were out of mint leaves....uhmmm ok, again. I placed my food order, the Crab Dip and Oyster "Rick-a-Fella". Ughhhhhh the crab dip was completely and utterly butter-fied. I saw chunks of cheap margarine that failed to melt, floating in the said Crab Dip. It was disgusting. The oysters were okay. I walked to restroom (somewhat decent) and upon my return there was some kind of chaotic nonsense going on. Some regular parton had failed to pay for his meal and had walked out. What was interesting was the fact that the bartender said it happened all the time and that whenever he saw the guy again he was going to "pay" one way or another. Really....wow. I jumped ship fast. I wont dare ever to return. Good luck to those that venture here....I just cant. #Dead.

OK Here goes. We are New Yorkers who have friends who moved to Virginia so we go to visit them. In March 2016 we went and they took us to the Fish Market. We had a great time. The food was excellent, The band was awesome, the lead singer (a woman) even pulled me onstage and sang Fire & Desire to me. GREAT TIME. Well my wife and I talked about that night for a year. So this February 2017 we went and were excited to be back... duh duh not even close. The waiter a guy with extension braids was rude, non-existent to our needs and only showed up because we acted as if we were going to leave then he rushes over to present the check after 15 mins of us waiting to pay bill. We expressed our displeasure to the manager who even said they were going to reimburse us since we double tipped the waiter (18 percent gratuities for group of 4 or more) is automatically added to the bill but we gave him a tip since we had no knowledge of this. well this was February 25th 2017 and I am writing this March 6the 2017 and my CC has yet to be sent the tip monies we were promised? We are going to go back as see if this may have been a once in a time occurrence. I will update my comments once the monies were put on my card or after our NEXT adventure to The Fish Market! Stay tuned :-).

Bad! Bad! Bad!! I went in for lunch. So I pre-ordered my food so I can enjoy the extent of my hour. Well I asked the guy could I sit in the dining area and asked him to seat me because it was 1 waitress/bartender there. Well he said sit where I want to. So I sat in a booth directly beside another seated booth only to have the bartender walk pass me several times and ignore me.. Did I say several..oh and I even called for her out loud like "excuse me..excuse me" she walked by as if she didnt hear me..ok cool but as she served the ramble behind me at least 2 more time she stillll did NOT acknowledge me. It was truly sad and unprofessional!! I wish her many days with no tips and customers with bad attitudes!!.. I dislike when my sisters have nasty attitudes for no reason. All she had to do was ask if I needed anything else and get that tip money.. I mean it is the holidays!! Just sad!! ( It was a big, lightskinned girl with blonde hair.. @1:55pm..lunchshift).. I left because I would rather eat in my car!!!...on the other hand the guy in the carryout place was super sweet..short,black guy!!..he got a lil tip from me.. and he made me smile as I left!!...

I stop giving the Fish Market any more of my business!!! The majority of the time I visited the Fish Market the restrooms had hand towels on the floor, trash bins running over and rather than purchasing flat screen televisions, they needed to invest in upgrading the restrooms and keeping them clean and/or upgrading the overflow room plus that room is dingy. Ive also experienced dirty table cloths or silverware plus their once delicious crab dip is not crab dough. The quantity of food went down and the customer service went from bad to worst; plus the prices had the nerve to increase. I refuse to take my grand children to this place since the music is too loud and the people can be roudy and loud. So this is what I suggest - take your family and money elsewhere! We have got to stop allowing establishments to get away with poor service, no telling what else they are cutting back on in the kitchen.

Had a WONDERFUL Celebration for my husbands birthday. Had Up Front tables near the Band. Sherry(Owner) was very supportive and went above and beyond to assist on a short notice. I have been obliging this business for the past 6 years. I have always had a GREAT time at the FIshMarket. I have always recommended and will continue to recommend this establishment to ALL of my Friends and Associates. I have never encountered a Racist situation while dinning. I have always noticed to opposite. The owners get down and party with SOUL. Sometimes they demonstrate more SOUL than the Brother and Sisters in attendance. I feel REAL Love from the Staff. These are people who look forward to going to work each day. THey never seem overburdened to assist. People, dont always feed into rumors. GEt your feet wet. See how it feels to you. Talk to the horse. Dig deeper. Your gut feeling is probably right.

Visiting from Philadelphia. Food was delicious (appetizers: clam chowder and crap & shrimp springrolls, main course: broiled admirals platter and southwestern seafood salad), my waitress was on point (i ordered a drink with the description of "I want something sweet yet strong" and she brought me back exactly what i asked for), live band was decent (the singer was engaging), place was crowded with a good vibe. Parking was scarce and the wait time was a little longer than i like (40 minutes) but the food and service made up for it (came without reservation). Will definitely go back when in town again.

was there on a moday afternoon, and has been regretting not going to red lobster ever since. We ordered the seafood stew- and wow, $8 for soup? (and i use that term loosely) it looked and tasted like pig slop. it was an ambiguous color and lumpy texture with veggies the size of my fist.- it makes campbells look like the heights of culinary invention. the 2nd dish was the jambalaya- it made me miss airplane food. and as a bonus there was a hair in it. service was also subpar- not a refil in sight. run, dont walk.....on the bright note- the hush puppies were pretty good

Food, waiter, and band were amazing. The problem was when we were standing outside, there was a black man, standing outside, who said all the black people in there didnt like us being there, but he would "protect" us while we waited for our ride. He was snow jobbing us to beg money from us. If I were the owners, is get him banned from the property. He told us the owners were white. I told him we Didnt see color and didnt see how that was relevant. Everyone inside was super nice!
