I normally purchase my crabs in Baltimore, but I decided to try a crab place in the Bowie area. I wish I would have stopped at a place that was closer to Baltimore. I purchase two dozen of medium crabs from the Bowie location. The crabs were small, light, had no taste and most were mushy on the inside. There was seasoning on the crabs that were on the top of the bag, but none on the middle or the bottom of the bag. I had already arrived to my destination in Baltimore and could not make it all the way back to Bowie, so I tried to re-season the crabs and that did not help. I had to throw away the crabs. I did call the store and was told to bring them back, but Bowie is definitely not close to the part of Baltimore I was at. The crabs were not fit for anyone to eat. I should have known something was wrong with the crabs because most crab places dont give you a half dozen free when you buy two dozen. You dont get something of quality for nothing. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME PATRONIZING THIS PLACE NASTY CRABS!!!!!!

As a seafood lover, Im very particular about who I buy seafood from. At first sight, I was turned off by this hole in the wall place. However, the crabs were delicious! They were BIG! they gave me extras, and the seasoning was perfect. My only pet peeve was that its the greatest looking place and you dont know its there unless you stop for gas next door.

I purchased crabs here for Mothers Day and was told that they were large. When I got home they were small crabs and females. They were dishonest and did not tell the truth that they had sold out of large and still sold me small/medium size at the large rate. These folks are crooks and wasnt prepared for the crowd on Mothers Day.

Just feasted on a bushel of crabs and they were excellent! If you want good crabs at a competitive price look no further than The Crab Galley of Bowie! Joe answered my questions, was very polite and had my order ready right on time. I forgot to mention that I received this excellent service on a holiday as well.

Ive lived in Bowie for a number of years and have never ate food from Crab Galley. This place is GREAT! The salmon cakes were delicious and I luv the taste of the hush puppies! The guy who took my order was friendly and he smiled. This place is on my list to recommend for great local seafood!

When you first pull up youre greeted by a stench of rotten fish. I ordered the jumbo cakes and fries with coleslaw. Let me tell you it was a complete waste of time and money. I knew i should gave left as soon as i smelled that stench outside this shindig. Youve been warned

There are plenty of places to get crabs in the area but if you want them done right I go here. Also if I want nine crabs I can buy nine and they are well cooked and full of sweet crab meat. Havent tried anything else yet but will soon. Service is good as well

A wonderful place to get steamed crabs! Even though its a smaller place it was one of the best place to get steamed crabs. I am so happy that a friend of mine suggested The Crab Galley. Their steamed crabs are a good value and full of meat! Very pleased. :)

Bought a bushel of crabs for Mothers Day. The crabs were great and the price was pretty standard for this area so not cheap but not extreme. The service was good and I will be returning to purchase more crabs from them again.
