The atmosphere: The server is fairly nice. The atmosphere is laid back. It feels like the border line between a restaurant and a distant relatives house. Its cozy. The food: The $5 plates are an excellent deal (an entree and two sides for $5). This a business Id like to see prosper. Ive had a number of the meals and, Im sure, Id try to be a regular if it was closer. They have a wide selection of soul food. The biggest Ive seen in baltimore. The mac and cheese needs to be worked on and the desserts are too expensive ($4) for me. They do give a pretty big slice but im usually ordering for a group of 8 so its a no-no. My kids order the garlic mashed potatoes everytime we go. I think I could eat the salmon everyday. Delicious! Try them out. You wont be disappointed. Doing this review makes me want to go there for lunch!

I would ride from East to West just to get their food, went there today and order asparagus as a side and as a part of my order what I got was sad no business should want to give a customer 5 tiny asparagus that looked the way mines did that was bad business no effort was put into the meal at all, I am a vegetarian so we need good portions and what I got today was sad... A chef is like a artist your presentation and work represent you and your business .The Quality is your food was not there today........ I hope you do better!!!!

I try so hard to support black owned businesses, but they make it so difficult . Business suppose to open a 12, I call young lady say we dont open until 12:15 okay fine. I call back and she say we not taking call in orders. This is the reasons we keep the Chinese in business organization, and then the professionalize was terrible. Sad when the food is not bad.....
