The pizza and wraps are decent. The food isnt expensive. The only issue are the folks who sometimes work the counter at night. One works so slowly - 5 people in front of me one night and it took 20 minutes just to order. The issue is that despite 5 people working in back, she makes all the pizza boxes and packs them all up as the staff stands around. She then takes them up front to customers - despite servers standing around. And thus 20 minutes to order when only 5 people in front of you. And another 15+ minutes to get my small pepperoni pizza. One time I picked up a pizza 30 minutes before they closed and they had put away the Parmesan, peppers and Italian seasonings. I asked if she could get them for me and she said sorry they decided to put everything away early. Tonight I called 15 minutes before they closed to place an order to pick up two slices of pizza. I was 10 minutes away. She said sorry, they were not making food any more. So I decided to check it out. Got there in 10 minutes before they close and there were 5 people in line ordering. While I waited another 5-10 people got in line. She took my order. I chose to not say "why did you tell me you werent making food any more" but decided it wasnt worth it. FYI its now 11:05 and there are still people in line and she is still taking orders. She could have taken my order 20 minutes ago as they are still making food. If their food wasnt good and a decent value, I wouldnt come here. Oh I chose to sit here - its now 11:15 and they are serving pizzas to tables. Clearly they are not closing any time soon. She could have taken my order 30 minutes ago.

it is a fells point institution. it is consistently good food, that is fairly reasonably priced. the same people have worked there for years and it is part of what makes it so comfortable to go there. they have a lot of cool deals like a cheesesteak special with fries and a drink for 8 bucks and it is substantial! they also have an amazing spinach salad with mushrooms, tomato, red onion, bacon crumbles and feta cheese (get it with the balsamic dressing) They have an amazing juke box and some classic arcade games, to entertain you or your kids while you wait for you food. they cook all pizza and wraps in a wood fire oven and while it make take a little longer it is worth the wait! during the day and in the evening on week nights, it is very comfortable and relaxed, but if you are sober, super hungry and trying to get food there on a Friday or Saturday night, be prepared for a long line, and some seriously obnoxious behavior. this is not a reflection on the business, just a helpful hint. also the bathrooms are incredibly small so if you are trying to change a baby you will not have much luck. This is a wonderful neighborhood staple that withstands the time by being consistent and adaptable. they also offer gluten free and vegan pizza, as well as other options.

First. The old lady taking my order was rude. It didnt matter how much I smiled and tried to be nice to her she was just rude and very bitter for no reason at all. Almost like she didnt want to be there or didnt want me to eat there. The pizza was subpar. The cheese was rubbery, the crust taste like cardboard, and it was over priced. Little Ceasars has done better and the customer service is definitely better than this place. The decor doesnt make sense. I mean the place is decorated like a taco shack. It smells like wet drywall inside. Its small and cramped. This had to have been the worst place to go to in Baltimore.

The atmosphere was very casual and is very small business like. They let you custom order each slice of pizza, anything you want custom made for you. If you want mushrooms and salami, order it. As other places make the who pizzas 1/2 something and 1/2 another topping. The pizza slices were very large, although you can order a smaller pizza the slices are pretty large. You can see the burning brick oven right behind the cashier with the wood, fire and the whole 9 yards! It was a amazing places. For all of these reasons I give BOP a 5/5 - Your reviewer, Talon

Was disappointingly surprised to discover I was nickeled and dimed to death with a $0.60 charge for tap water. They just added it to a fairly large bill for a large pie with many toppings. The crust is thick and undercooked, which is surprising for a brick oven pie. The toppings we had were fresh but put on on such a way that they dried out in the oven. Somehow despite this, the flavors were pretty good. All in all ,the pizza didnt overcome the bad taste of the customer-cheating tap water charge.

This place so is OVERRATED and OVERPRICED. I had been to this place couple of times and was disappointed every time. Pizza crust is horrible. Once my husband had to wait for 1and1/2 hours to get his pasta. His chicken pasta had no chicken in it and sauce was dry and terrible. They charged $16 for pasta. Everything is expensive here. If you feel like eating good pizza or pizza then just walk down few blocks and go to Little Italy and have good pizza or pasta for the same price.

If youre sober, this pizza is a solid two stars. If youre drunk, another star magically appears. It does allow you to build your own pizza by the slice, which is a plus, but the quality of the pizza is just "meh." Ambiguous crust that is not thick or thin, sauce that is forgettable, and at that point youre putting a lot of expectations into your toppings. It is stumbling distance from many Fells bars, and they are tolerant of a wide degree of intoxication.

I have NEVER, EVER understood Baltimores fascination with this place, but I took the bait and went for a pie. This place may have been great back in the day, but it sucks now. I couldnt even eat the pizza they gave me, I had to give it back. They were nice enough to refund my money for the two bites I had, which was more than I expected. Id recommend Iggies, but that place has fallen off as well. So, I dunno, stay home and make your own pizza.

“A bit to eat...” Well, after watching the Os win their 5000th game; a few pints at a local pub, it was time for a bit to eat. It was Nicks birthday, so his choice was his fav pizza joint in the Fells Point area (Baltimore, maybe even Maryland ;) ) The pizza and wings were great; the conversation and friendship treasurable. All of that AND My Lovely Dine too ;) Great meal, thanks guys

I have lived in baltimore city for 39 years and this is my first review of bop brick oven pizza. Bought a slice of pepperoni and bacon. Amazing. Great. Perfect amount of toppings versus dough. Didnt fold while eating . Did not have much grease at all. Definitely a place to take the family and friends. I am going back next time in fells point.

Quick service, quantity and quality are worth the price(remember people, this is a tourist area, of the course the prices are high). Dont let the sketchy brick, end of the building fool you into not going. It was a nice place for lunch, gave it four stars for the dirty table. Otherwise, it was a great, quick place to eat.
