My wife & I went last week. I ordered the club sandwich & my wife got the crab cake sandwich. It took a really long time to get the food even though they were not very busy at the time. When the food did arrive, we were very displeased with what we got. They burned all the bread on the club sandwich (noticeably blackened), put way too much mayonnaise on it & the bacon was rock hard. My wife was expecting a fried crab cake but it looked like they tried to cook it on a grill top. It was discolored, mushy & tasted absolutely terrible. Pretty much the potato chips were the only thing edible on both our plates The waitress was more interested in yapping with the locals than waiting tables. After sitting there for almost 10 minutes with our plates piled up we practically had to stand up & flag her to come bring the bill so we could leave. Dont even get me started on the bill either... $23.00 for bad service & shitty food. We will not be going back ever again.

I always loved it here but lately it has changed. They have high turnover of employees. I was there today and the service was bad and so was the breakfast. Soggy hash browns, overdone eggs and very greasy bacon. Things need to change Court St. A smile and good service goes a long way. The food must get better. Maybe an updated menu? Standard good food. Meatloaf, Chicken fried steak, Open faced roast beef sausage. How about some fruit at breakfast?

WHAT HAPPENED..? I went in there a couple of years ago and was disappointed in the food, but figured that was the price for convenience. Yesterday evening, I decided to venture in there again instead of crossing the bridge for a quick bite to eat. IT WAS VERY GOOD!!! Great taste, nice presentation, and service was very satisfying. Must have changed chef and menu. I wont pass this place up again! Small town diamond in the rough.

Horrible experience. I called in a to go order. Took them 50 minutes to prepare my order which was only two entrees and an appetizer. The waitress stated my order would be ready in 20-30minutes. I sat in there 30 minutes waiting for my food. Once in the car I decided to sneak a southwest roll for the ride home. The southwest rolls were still ice cold in the middle. That was the first and last time I eat there.

We had very bad service and a sorry waitress. Our waitress just stood behind the bar talk with another waitress. Never came to our table to ask if we needed anything but she sure didnt forget to come leave us the bill. I had to get up and ask for some water. Will we go back yes I will but Ill make sure she is not there. This is the first time its has ever happened to us before.

Not my favorite place, but I will ride with coworkers once a month or so and eat here. The Club Sandwich has been my favorite entree, but now that Im off carbs I cant find much at Court Street that fits. I have one coworker who goes to Court Street EVERYDAY... Monday through Friday for lunch and occasionally on Friday or Saturday for dinner with his wife.

Great Place - If you are in Port Allen, I highly recommend you take in this place for any meal. Decided to try it to keep from having to do fast food or to have to drive across the bridge. The poboy I had was awesome and the menu was full of other good options. Ill stay in Port Allen again just to go here again.

My home town restaurant... Great atmosphere and service.. And youll have more than nickels in your pocket and air in your stomach when you leave... Grill fish, Ribeye and the awesome Seafood Potato is ridiculously good... Great place...

Great option if you ever find yourself in Port Allen. Most everyone I know enjoys the burgers, gumbo and etoufee. If you can make it for breakfast, try the seafood omelet!
