If its a Wednesday, youll usually find me here because PINT NIGHT!! My friends and I dont get to hang out together often but Wednesday nights are mostly reserved for The Bulldog. The beer selection is vast but we normally stick to the draft beers for the pint glasses. Its nice that the beer menu can be pulled up through one of those phone bar scans (you can find the sticker on the tables) so that we can decide on what type of beer before we get to the bar. The bar is usually crowded by the time its 6pm so sometimes its hard to reach the actual bar. The bartenders that work there are incredibly attentive so if you can make it to the bar, they usually will notice you quickly.

The bar tenders are very knowledgeable and can help you pick the perfect beer when you only have a vague idea of what you are craving. The bar eats are your solid greasy food that will satisfy you when you have had one too many beers. The place is kept very clean, and the back porch is a very nice place to sit with your doggie or human friends. Look out during the school year, though, it can get so crowded in there that its not a fun place to be anymore. This is my favorite bar during the summer months.

The place is cool but these retards dont understand how to use the aloha credit card system and they will charge you twice everytime you use your card. Granted it will clear but it takes 2 weeks and is pretty annoying since I use aloha all the time the correct way and I don't charge people two times like an idiot. I volunteer my services to the bulldog anytime to come in and show all their employees how to correctly close a ticket and add their tips without running your card twice.

This place is such a roller coaster. One time I come here and the place is full of cigarette smoke, the next time the owner is literally drunk off his mind dancing on the bar and BLASTING his music (my ears were ringing when I left). The beer selection is great but man their service can be strange. Update: Per the owner response the drunk dancer was not the owner despite what the waitress told us, but he was definitely working at the bar.

Stopped in to have a beer with some coworkers and was stunned by the quality of the nachos and quesadillas. If you want a beer and not just the regular American domestics, this place can fix you up. The array of taps is impressive and the bartenders are knowledgeable about the products. They allowed me to taste a few of the recommendations based on what I listed as preferences and found the perfect brew for me.

Horrible crowds. Cant ever get a drink, bar design lends patrons to "post up" and never allow access to other drinkers, forget trying to close out past 12, I just left my card, Im not waiting 40 minutes to close a tab. The bartenders ARE good and nice, but they need 3x as many to deliver good service in peak hours.

Love the Bulldog. Great beer selection and awesome patio for eating/drinking/watching football games. We love bringing our dog here and love that they are dog friendly. Pint night on Wednesday can get really busy. They let you take cups on Wednesday and bring them back on Thursdays for a charity donation.

Food was good and the atmosphere is very positive and upbeat. However this is no diversity in the guests that come. I hope in future there is more outreaching to other types of people. I hope this isnt taken negatively, but I do believe diversity in these kind of places should be a priority.

Great selection of beers from all over the country (Cali, Colorado, New England and local). Food is decent. Bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. Always asked if I want a chilled or room temperature glass, so cold beer every time.

Love the Bulldog. Bring your dog friend and pick from a great beer selection. Plenty of seating (unless its pint night) and a knowledgeable staff. Food is also pretty great for what seems to be dominatly a bar.

Solid place for a beer after an LSU game. Stopped in and didnt have any trouble getting a beer. Good prices and a good environment. Good choice to stop in while the traffic dies down.

This is a great UK style pub. Great food and large selection of beers. It is, however, really loud and and hard to have a conversation especially on trivia night.
