This place has been awful for years! Recently they put a billboard out front that said they were under new management........ We ordered delivery in the middle of the week, in the middle of the day and were very impressed! Then.......we tried them a second time on a Sunday evening, was edible but they forgot an add on, didnt cut the pizza, and our thin crust wasnt crispy, so I called to let them know. The managers tone was like he could care less..... Didnt offer anything besides an apology, I wouldnt have accepted anything free, but theres nothing else to give a customer that had a bad experience, he made a lame excuse and hurried me off the phone, otherwise I wouldnt leave this review. I hope someone reads this and takes the time to work harder! If we waited 10 more minutes for the correct better food wed be happy! If the manager showed some sort of passion on the phone I wouldnt leave this bad review.

We have ordered pizza from this location 3 times in the past 7 months. Out of those 3 times, they have taken over 2 hours to get our order out to us. The second time we had the issue, we called the store and spoke with someone about the amount of time it was taking (at this point it had only been a hour). They informed us that the order had not left the store yet. An hour later we called back and the person we spoke with informed us that the order had left the store immediately after we called the first time. After another 30 minutes we called back and spoke with the manager. He proceeded to inform us that we hadnt spoken with anyone about our order and he was extremely rude on the phone. This store is in desperate need of a new staff. Better employees should be working there. This store is a complete joke because of the staff. I will never recommend them to anyone.

Ignore the other reviews as they are outdated. Since the "Most Helpful reviews" this location has had a total management and employee overhaul. The staff now is friendlier and more engaging. Sure, sometimes service times take hits; but this is natural for any business especially one with such high business volume and lack of desire for talented people to work for this company in the local community. All product is made fresh and is inspected before it even leaves the cut table (the table at the end of the oven). Naturally, a pizza takes 7 1/2 minutes to cook. So, if you order a pizza in the lobby, it is going to take a few minutes to be made as Pizza Hut does not "pre-make" anything. When you order from this location youre guaranteed to get a fresh pizza made from bottom to top with genuinely fresh ingredients.

Ive been there a few times now. Every time I go, the waiters/waitresses fail to bring drinks. I constantly have to remind them that I have an empty cup. It always takes too long for the pizza. You can definitely tell that the employees there dont care about being there or who they are waiting on. They are always rolling their eyes and running away from you when they bring the food. Ive seen cooks drop utensils before and picking them back up and reusing them WITHOUT cleaning them.....I kept going back because I believe in giving restaurants 2nd/3rd chances. I figured the employees there are having a bad day. I was wrong. For the 3rd time, I had to send the pizza back to be recooked because it was way too doughy....and once again, the service was awful. Have fun if you are planning on going there....

Stopped in for lunch. Ordered cheese sticks and pasta (primavera and spaghetti. Cheese on bread looked, smelled, and tasted burnt. Pasta (both types served was totally dried out as if pasta was cooked yesterday, refrigerated over night, then baked today further drying it out. Primavera order was served first and sauce was almost non-existent. Five minutes later spaghetti was served with plenty of meat sauce, Was told that bread had another minute or so to go. Could not eat either. Our server was running all over the place trying her best to keep up. Preparation of food was not her responsibility - She did her best. Folks there need help and TRAINING. I wish them the best. Unless things change I dont see this restaurant surviving.

Dont bother..my whole family went to eat here. After 20 minutes every one received their pozza but me. The waitress said she hit the wrong topping button and it was on its way out. Another 20 minutes goes by and everyone had finished eating but I still never received my meal. I asked the waitress dee again for my pizza and again was told it was coming out. I decided to walk up to the oven and sit there..ten minutes later it finally came out. Nothing was done for me not being able to eat out with my family..i shouldnt have had to pay for the pizza. There was only 1 server on a friday night. Ridiculous.

Dont waste your time, or your money. I realize everybody has a bad day now and then, but this restaurant has a bad day EVERY day. Unfortunately, my daughter really likes their wings. We stopped being able to have them deliver, because they could never get our order in less than 90 minutes. Carryout experience is not much better. Tonight, for example, I waited 30 minutes past the scheduled time. The worst part was that my food was only 15 minutes late; they just couldnt bother to give it to me for another 15. To top it off, found hair on the first piece, so after all that had to throw it away.

Ive tried this place 4 or 5 times since moving to Shelbyville and it has never been good. Pizza was black a couple times. Only one of their staff has ever been decently friendly. The last time I went in there I had to wait for about 10-15 minutes while the girl behind the counter had a conversation with her friend about who did what and said whatever. Then girl behind the counter leaves to deliver pizzas and lights a cigarette with pizzas in the car. GROSS. This place needs better management and staff.

This is the first time that the food was not burnt and cold. We have ordered so many times hoping it get better and today was the day. It was delivered hot . What a surprise! We have only 2 places that deliver where we live. Now the other place starting burning the pizza. We are from Chicago and move here and really there is no place like Chicago pizza. But at least today I received hot and actually good pizza.

Mark was rude right from the start. Ive gotten luke warm pizza and late pizza from this location before and not been too upset about it. Ive tipped pretty well every time. With only 2 main streets in Shelbyville Kentucky, Id like someone to explain how my address is out of the delivery zone. Anyway, Im done wasting my time and money on this place. With reviews this bad, get the hint Pizza Hut!

I work at the outlet shoppes of the bluegrass. There have been several times associates and managers have ordered delivery from this Pizza Hut. But every now and then we get told that they do not deliver to the outlet mall. Consistency is obviously not their strong suit. Nor is getting good ratings either apparently.
