When you first walk in their is a horrible smell. It smells like urine and I always smell it when I walk in. Me and my friend walked up to the lady to place our name in the waiting list. The woman was on the telephone and once she hung up, she turned and started talking to another employee. As we were patiently waiting, the phone rung again. She rolls her eyes and picks up the phone. She never even acknowledged us. Once she was done, my friend asked her what was the wait time and we decided to wait. My friend gave her last name to be placed on the list. The same employee called her Kristen when her last name started with an M. She was looking straight at us and calling her Kristen. We gave her an easy last name and she wrote down another. When we were seated, a waiter came up to us and gave us menus. When we were ordering drinks, I said that I wanted milk and water but I felt rushed. As she was walking away I said wait because I wanted lemonade instead of milk. I knew she could hear me but she kept walking. Me and my friend were talking about using the coupon together and it required you to buy two drinks. The waiter came back and explained that we couldnt use the coupon and if I still wanted another drink, which I did. I felt greedy ad bad about myself at that moment. This can be triggering for someone who has problems related to anorexia/bulimia. The only reason why I gave them two stars is because the food was actually good but Im not a picky eater. Sometimes when the waiter would come, she would stand nearest me and talk over my drink and I really hate that. The food was good overall but the service was pretty bad. I hope they get it together, because I like IHOP and I would hate to spend my money over in Indiana.

I recently dined here with a couple of friends and experienced poor service. Between the three of us there are two restaurant managers and a server. When we arrived, our server, Sarah i believe, greeted us. By greet, i mean that she stood there until we said hello. She took our orders fine and kept our drinks full. Our food took between 30-40 minutes, which is not her fault. Also, we dont mind waiting for good food. And boy was it glorious. When our food did arrive, my friend noticed that her meal didnt include toast. This is not a problem. She asked if she could get a side of toast and our server sighed right in front of us and said that she would ring it in. That was very unprofessional and made my friend feel as if she was angry with her. Within 25-30 minutes we were finished with our meal. Soon after finishing, our server showed up at our table for the first time since dropping off the food to bring us the check. No toast. She looked at us as if wed been a huge burden of bitterness on her. Im not used to this quality of service. Working in the restaurant has taught us all to appreciate others in the industry and to be better costumers. We are not picky nor needy. The only thing we needed from her was toast and ketchup. The ketchup was brought to us because a manager had come to check on us and we asked him for some. Our check came out to $30.03. The tip left was 4 dollars, which is still between 13-14%. That is the lowest percent ive tipped in the past 5 years. I know that the last statistic i included makes this whole review seem passive-agressive, but i know that the only reason we do this job is to make money and that the way this servers doing it, i doubt shes making as much as she could.

Doesnt even deserve 1 star. I took my grandmother and mother here along with my 3 year old a few months back. First of all it was a gloomy day, we knew it was about to rain. We went in and waited for a table. Sat down inside the doors to wait. It started pouring about 10 minutes later. All of a sudden these 2 gentlemen run outside to chase a garbage can. Strong wind gusts kept the door open, which may I remind you where we are sitting... So we ended up soaking wet. I mean COMPLETELY. I hurry up and close the door as the gentleman turned back to see it was opened and we were getting soaked. He did not shut it. In fact he found it amusing. The two guys came back in...again door flys open, we get spewed with water again, still did not close it. To be honest if my son hadnt been there I wouldve probably made a fuss about the issue. But i just had to remind myself that there are unfriendly people in this world. Food was mediocre. We surprisingly stayed as it was my mothers birthday and that is the closest IHOP around. Water was leaking from the roof up until 5 minutes before we left. No one attended it, even after being told. Also would like to note that the man who was our server decided to take it upon himself to take his own tip money out of my change. Considering we had a large group aside from my family, in which he wouldve gotten more than expected had it been a pleasant experience. WORST PLACE EVER. MY FIRST AND LAST TIME AT THIS LOCATION.

Called in a to go order. Once I arrived was greeted and asked how many in my party. Told him I was here to pick up a carry out order. Asked my name, looked at computer screen and said we dont have an order under your name. Said he would be right back with a manager. Manager came out, asked what my name was, and said we dont have an order under your name. She proceeds to go check to see who took my order. The server comes out and asks what my order was. She states the ticket didnt print in the kitchen. Which is code for, I didnt put the order in, because if I had, all that would have to be done is reprint the order. So, I sat there for twenty minutes, all the while being assured that my order word be out in less than 5 minutes. So after about a half hour, order is brought out and only half of my order was there. So waited for the other half, which to 10 minutes to bring out. All I can say, is the only thing edible was the bacon. My waffles were ice cold and soggy. They were cut in 4 pieces with a knife that just butchered them. They tasted like they were about a day old, frozen and then heated up in a microwave. I will never go back.

Waiter was mad when i left 1.00 for a tip because thats all the cash i had on me but i was going to leave more when i went up front to pay with a credit card, until he followed me up there to tell me that it was a crappy tip and i should have left him more ( the total of my check was 4.50) he snapped the dollar bill, with it being held in both hands, and said nobody leaves 1.00. I am on a fixed income and only got coffee and dessert which totaled $4.50, so 1.00 was 20 %. I was stunned that they let him talk to me that way so i paid, did not leave more for a tip and left. If he would have waited he would have gotten more, even though he didnt do anything but bring me a cup and my dessert. The coffee pot was already on the table filled with coffee. That was the only time i saw him. I wont be back to eat at ihop because of him & the way i was treated. If the dollar was so crappy why didnt he give it back to me instead of yelling at me in front of everyone and then putting it in his pocket!! Rude and someone in management who watched should have done something but they didnt. So...lost another customer!
