Though this place is not the most moderate place to go to and definitely can use some remodeling, you probably cant get any other authentic experience than here. This place is really nice, clean and cozy, workers are nice and friendly, and food is delicious and presentable. This place serves mainly american breakfast type foods and the menu items arent much to choose from. However what they lack in menu items they make up for with their timely service and flavor they add in the food. Its not the biggest place to go to but still a really great place for breakfast with the kids, family, or couples and singles alike.

We left the waitress a tip on the table and when we went to pay, my husband told the lady at the front that whatever change was left, she could leave it for the waitress. The lady at the front thought that the change was all the tip we were leaving, so she proceeded to start talking about us loudly so that everyone could hear that was standing around. Very rude and unprofessional. Wont be back.

The "shoe" is fantastic. Had it over rye instead of white. The pancake I ordered as a side was perhaps just as much food as my entree, which I did not finish as you can see in the image. The pancake was as big as my face, and I have a big face... Service was fast and friendly. A very old school diner atmosphere, but very clean.

Delicious breakfast. Hometown/neighborhood diner. Lots of locals, which added to the atmosphere. One bacon, 2 x egg (over medium), hashbrowns and toast. One open faced egg sandwich (over medium) with bacon and hashbrowns. Great price, great food, great personality, great people. Will return again, for sure.

Seeing coastal views in the Midwest warmed my heart. Furthermore, the wait staff is completely relatable and efficient at their jobs. The ambiance was welcoming and homey- just like their food. Complete comfort and absolute satisfaction. Definitely breakfast like you remember it.

We had Ola as our server- she is excellent! Always enjoy our experience when she waits on us. As we walked through the door we were seated immediately. Service was incredibly fast! Food came out perfect and tasted excellent. We left very happy. Overall great experience. :-)

Great place for breakfast! Its a diner, nothing fancy. But the food is good, service fast and we like the atmosphere for a breakfast experience. The pancakes are huge and still delicious. They know how to cook eggs - not every breakfast place does. Well be back.

A Wichita staple that is no longer worth tbe visit. This place is lack luster. The eggs werent cooked right. The bacon was floppy, everything was cheaply made and over priced. Not impressed one time in my few visits. Doodah is just up the road ;-)

Really great breakfast food! Great staff that knows how to handle a crowd! Be up for a wait because the lines can get pretty long. They look closed because of the construction next door but they are not and there is plenty of parking in the back.

My wife and I eat breakfast here once a week. We love the Beacon Traditional Breakfast. It is an english muffin with your choice of bacon or sausage, eggs, and hashbrowns on the side. It is what I think of when I think of my perfect breakfast.

My waitress was a doll. Very friendly, food came out quick and my kids got to order really neat "Mickey mouse" pancakes. Adorable. I really loved the old school home cooked meal vibe of this place. Ill be coming back!
