We have been here many times and I ask myself why I keep coming back when we are always disappointed. The food is tasty and my kids love the buffet. The fried chicken is awesome and the dessert pizzas are so yummy. However, staff could be more friendly and helpful. They have a hard time keeping up with the amount of people. The place always looks like a mess and they never have enough pizza out. When I was there tonight with my 4 kids they never once put out a cheese or sausage or pepperoni pizza. It was all unique pizzas that my little ones werent interested in like BBQ chicken, Bacon, Chicken Ranch, Taco, etc. There was one point where there was ZERO pizza available on the buffet. The staff were standing around. I asked about getting a cheese pizza. I also had to remind them that the ice cream machine was out. If the staff could step it up a bit this place would do really well.

The food is Pretty good. There is always a long wait. Tables generally are not cleaned off and service is poor. The new Pop machines are not functional. The lines are too long to them and pop always seems to be out. New pizzas are not put out in a timely fashion and there is never a variety. If you want to be around millions of kids just running around with there hands touching everything on the salad bar, this is the place for you. Saw a little kid put his hands in the bacon bits and it has not been changed. The only thing good is the mash potatoes and chicken.

I had to bring it the attention of a person working there (fundraiser) that the buffet was empty. She, in turn, had to go in the kitchen to FIND someone that works there to refill the buffet. The little bit of food out was COLD. It was finally somewhat filled after that. I then found ROTTEN tomatoes on the salad bar. I pointed this out. It was corrected after that, but a customer should not have to point out ROTTEN food that was being served. I will never return to this location as I feel they do not care about the customer.

This is probably the best Pizza Ranch in central Iowa. I dont get up to Iowa much but when I do I always find a Pizza Ranch for dinner. This Pizza Ranch is peaceful and the pizza is very satisfying. I dont quite understand why people drink so much sode-pop, or how the ice machine keeps so much ice with no ice pick insight but the iced tea is very good. I would have rated the service higher but the boy at the register was on his cordless phone twerptering that the I was at the pizza ranch.

The pizza is good; I have some favorites, like garlic cheese. The fried is good enough that you might just pass up the pizza for it. They should call it the Chicken Ranch, but I think someone already got that name and given it certain connotations... Im not a big fan of the desserts, but your mileage may vary. This particular restaurant of the chain has very good WiFi, somewhere around 25 Mb/s, and symmetric, too! The staff is courteous and very helpful.

5 stars for food. Their fried chicken is amazing (I heard it is because it used pressure frying, similar to the KFC original recipe which made it famous). 5 stars for service. 2 stars speed for pickup orders. Expect wait when arriving in store even after the suggested pickup time online.

Wife and I were taking our niece out for her 5th Birthday. We asked where she wanted to go she said Pizza Ranch. Wife and I had never been. Manager heard us talking and bought our lunch. Food was great people were awesome. Atmosphere great. Havent left yet and already want to cone back.

Great broasted chicken. The pizza is pretty good too. The buffet is a great. Good variety. I admit that the place is usually very busy. But I think that is probably an indication of the good food. I recommend the cactus bread desert pizza. It is very good.

Food was not hot and there were kids eating out of the salad bar with their hands. We normally enjoy eating there, but was very disappointed with this experience. Maybe an age limit on who can serve themselves from the buffet tables.

Very poor service. We live twelve blocks away and they took an hour and a half for delivery and we still had to go pick up our order. They promised that we would not have to pay but they charged its for it the next day!!!

I guess I was done with my plate and fork even though I was using them to eat and there was still plenty of food on my plate. Theres being efficient and being pestersome. This place is the latter. Food was decent.

The chicken here is amazing! They will make any pizza for the buffet and they have the create your own drink stations. They also have the best dessert pizza and ice cream.
