Its a decent restaurant. I have neither high praise nor much in the way of criticism for this place. The food is decent and abundant. Ive had better in many places, but it is the only game in town. The carnitas are at least on par with the rest of the Mexican restaurants in the Midwest that Ive visited. I was not pleased with the guacamole. I asked if it was made fresh, and I think the server didnt understand, I was misled, or their recipe here is...odd. It came out whipped and shiney like you see in supermarket, prepacked stuff. It also did not taste or feel like fresh guacamole. That being said, I could be acting extremely critical given my upbringing in California - home to some of the best Mexican food youll find. Quick notes: The restaurant is clean and seating is abundant. The music is on a bit loud. The decorations are beautiful and add to my enjoyment of my dining experience. The wait staff are quick to react to needs and are friendly.

We enjoy Tasos. Family owned,nice people. Great help! Several things on menu we enjoy. We dont go for the steaks though. I will say they arent a good steak place had much better steak else where but alot of other things on their menu that are very good. Reubun very good! Their SouthwestChicken Salad,Chicken Philly,Chicken Ceasar Salad their Specials are good! Corn Nuggets on Appitizer real good & Cheddar Cheese Balls! Their Ham & Beans real GOOD! Broasted chicken Excellent! I like their pizzas to eat there not as good to take out. Better to eat right out of oven.They have gotten very pricey but everything has.Very good with large groups.

Mi Ran is a Mexican restaurant with the obligatory features of such a venue. 1) "Home Made" chips and salsa that are store in 50 gallon trash barrels. If you are there and it isn’t 6-8 on a Friday night the chips are stale. 2) Consistently questionable health-food practices. 3) Really pricy margs made with really cheap tequila. 4) Great service!

Only 4 stars because the best Mexican I have eaten Was in Ensenada Mexico. Here is Oskaloosa, Mi Ranchito is the only place I will east Mexican style food. Every dish I have been served is fresh, hot and delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. When I get a craving for chips and salsa, I only go to Mi Ranchito!

What a great staff! They answer all your questions and are super friendly! Santos is a great manager! I called at 9:30 while they closed at 10 and they let me place a take out order with no problems! Fernando will memorize your order! Theyre very quick and nothing is better than chips and queso
