Was staying at the hotel, so I ordered for take-out: large pizza/thin crust. I was told 35-40 minutes. I arrived to pick up the pizza 45 minutes after the call, and it wasnt ready. Young girl at the counter was apologetic, said the place was busy, which it was. Young guy asks if I want a drink "while Im waiting." Yeah, nice try. Have me buy something else because my order isnt ready. Clever youngling. Two women were sitting in a booth, looking bored out of their minds. I wonder if they were waiting as long as I was. When I got the pizza, it certainly wasnt what I would consider "large," but it was tasty. Atmosphere inside was decent: a large group of locals/townies were having a good time, and it was nice to see a jukebox being used. I would have given a tip if it would have gone to the girl, but if split with the shyster male, no way. Longest wait Ive ever had for a pizza: total time was 55 minutes.

I dont usually like pizza but Algers pizza is very good!! We ordered a deep dish Hawaiian pizza and their dessert sticks. The dessert sticks melt in your mouth. The pizza dough is crisp and fluffy and the toppings are not overbearing like the others Ive had in other pizza places. This Mount Vernon gem is delightful.

This was the worst pizza place I have ever been to. First they delivered the salad very late (way after the pizza) , and second the pizza was greasy and under baked. The staff was rude and the pizza was worse.

Had a thin crust sauerkraut & Canadian bacon. Delicious! Environment is kind of drab. Bathrooms desperately need renovations. Waiter was pleasant.
