If youve been to a Chipotle, Qdoba, Jimmy Johns or Potbellys, then you have encountered the "Assembly Line" style of dining. Blaze Pizza takes the assembly line and makes it even better with pizza! Their menu includes a variety of Signature Pizzas (but you can still add extra stuff on your za at no extra charge) and BYOP (build your own pizza) for $7.95. If youre looking for just a plain cheese pizza, youre saving a little money (I think its only $5.95...) Ive been there twice in the past week, and both times the whole process (creating my pizza, paying, and waiting for it to bake) has taken less than 10 minutes! Our first time there, I tried their Red Vine signature pizza because I was looking for something light, but Blaze is definitely a place where you could eat your entire 11" pizza and be perfectly full or save half for another meal. It all depends on how much stuff you put on and how hungry you are. They do dine-in and take-out (with online ordering!), but if youre dining in, I would suggest trying their Blood Orange Lemonade - its absolutely scrumptious. All in all, Id say this experience is on par if not better than the experiences Ive had at other places following the assembly line template. The fact that its less than a block away from the Belmont red line stop makes this a great place to pick up a quick dinner after work, and the food is better (and with more variety) than most delivery pizza youre going to get. I will definitely be coming back for more!

Customized, have it your way, wood fired while you wait pizza is what Blaze offers. I have never seen anything quite like this before - where you get to choose exactly what you want and dont want on your pizza. From the dough, to the sauces, to the toppings, everything is catered to your individual preferences. I love the fact that there are no restrictions on how many toppings you can put on your pizza. The first time I did it, my thin crust pizza could not take the weight of all the toppings I had chosen. It made for a delicious, but somewhat messy meal. They have vegetables, meats and my personal favorite - roasted garlic that you can put on your have-it-your-way pizza. The pizza is then wood fired on the spot while you wait, it takes less than ten minutes. So get your seat, some water, and before you know it, youre chowing down on your masterpiece.

The selections are amazing, so many different sauces, toppings and cheeses to choose from. Reasonably priced with flat rates so you can get as many or as few toppings and extras as you would like. Crust is paper thin which I love, but you can get high rise for a thicker crust or even go gluten free - they will change their gloves and use separate sauce, cheese and utensils. So many different cheeses, fresh mozzarella, goat, even dairy free vegan. They make it to order while you watch and direct and throw it in the oven and you get it back in about 3 minutes. Simply great!

Good quality, thin crust pizza. Ordering process is very customized and moves quickly. Most of the staff is friendly. On my last visit the girl behind the counter rushed through my order so one of the two pizzas I was ordering got messed up, and then she acted annoyed when I asked them to fix it (before toppings were even added, mind you). She messed up the order yet again and I didnt bother to try to fix it again. It was a one time occurrence. Usually my experience is easy ordering, and getting what I want quickly.

Me and my husband went for pizza and the experience was just amazing!!!!! The customer service was A+, The establishment was clean and had lots of room for use to dine in... We were able to put as much of whatever we wanted on our pizzas with no hassle or extra charges, the pizza was built and cooked in less than 10 minutes... Also you all have to try the blood orange lemonade, its to die for.. We will be back again because it was just that good and the pizza was under 10 dollars each....

Having Blaze so close to our apartment is dangerous, I dont think there has been a weekend that has gone by since it opened, that one of my roommates and I havent stopped in. Quick and delicious, Blaze always hits the spot. We always do the build your own, and pile on the toppings! Arugula and pesto at the end are a must! One of my roommates is gluten free and Blaze makes a delicious gluten free option! A great addition to the Belmont area.

Hands down some of the best quick-order pizza Ive ever heard (prepared Chipotle-style, with you selecting your ingredients across the counter). The build-your-own pizza allows for limitless toppings, so you can get creative - and its very affordable. Be careful going there on weekend evenings though, as the line for it can stretch outside of the building sometimes. Very quality thin-crust pizza for the price, and the staff is very friendly.

If you want a one-topping pizza, you can probably find someplace better in Chicago. But if you like a variety of toppings, Blaze is fantastic and inexpensive. My last pizza had pepperoni, chicken, bacon, ricotta, jalapeno, spinach, and pineapple. So many toppings would cost a fortune at a regular pizzeria, but here it was $8.45. Plus service is fast and its convenient to the Belmont L station. You can use their app to earn rewards and/or pay.

I checked this place out after getting a coupon for a free pizza from the RedEye and it was so much better than I expected. Its like a create-your-own neopolitan style pizza. The prices are so reasonable and have me going back, pizzas range from $5 - $7.75 and all beers/wines are $4. Its a great location right next to the Belmont el stop too. I highly recommend checking it out, its a great place for both eating in or carrying out.

Lots of very informative reviews already, but I cant resist throwing in my 2cents! Love all the fresh toppings offered and that they dont charge per topping for a build your own. Bacon, artichoke hearts, roasted red pepper, olives, sausage, garlic, mushrooms... still no extra charge! The crust is thin and a bit greasy for my liking but for the price, freshness and convenience it cant be beat! In and out in 5 minutes!

Pizza was OK, however the cashier was extremely rude!!! He mocked me and talked about me right behind the counter while we were standing there waiting for our pizzas to finish baking. Somehow when I requested a cup of pizza sauce for my Margherita pizza, I deserved such treatment. Apparently it was my fault that I was told by another employee that they were "out" of cherry tomatoes (at 10:30pm on a Thursday evening).

Your pizza will be ready after five minute you walk in this place. Modern rustic interior and friendly staff. You choose either signature pizzas or build-your-own starting with the sauce, cheese, toppings, olive oil drizzle, including vegetarian and vegan option. The Pizza is baked in a huge 800 degrees stone oven which takes only 3 minutes to bake the pizza. Want something sweet? Try their Smores pie.

I love this Blaze! The line gets crazy some times though and goes out the door. Lakeview isnt really full of affordable good places to eat along these exact lines so I understand why people cant get enough and its right under the train to boot! ProTip: ALWAYS choose the build your own and make sure you try the blood orange lemonade but I find it a bitter so you may need to mix it with Sprite.
