My friends and I decided to go to Latinos. It wasnt very busy at all. When we got there we sat down at a table and waited ten minutes before she came to us with menus. We waited for another five minutes and then asked what we wanted to drink. She brought us chips and salsa (there was a hair in it by the way.) After she brought us our drink, she took our order and left our menus there. On the bright side, our food was quick. We asked after to split the check and waited another ten minutes for them to divide the check. Then after she brought it to us, the owner had gotten there and he asked if the service was okay. We mentioned we were splitting the check, but did not listen and charged my friend the whole bill. We were very unpleased with the service. The place also looked a little dirty. The food was a not very tasty at all. The only thing I liked was the shrine for the Virgin of Guadalupe. Update, it didnt set well in our stomachs later that night.

I was a little apprehensive reading the reviews prior to going here but decided to give it a shot anyway. Horrible mistake. We were the first and only table in there (for a while). Place smelled clean as in we could still smell the cleaning supplies used to clean the floors. However there were still food particles all over the outer edges of the floors. Ledges were grimey. Order was messed up, TV was blaring on some cooking show, 3 employees standing at bar eating their own food (credit though for washing their hands before handling guests drinks). Environment could be charming but its just awkward. Food was tasteless and undercooked - slimey chicken. Drinks (2 waters, Mt. Dew, and lemonade) were all warm and the few ice cubes served with them melted almost instantly. Kids chicken tenders tasted like fish. Server was friendly and on top of anything we asked for though! End of story: never again and trust my instincts.

6/29 or 6/30/12 - My husband and I were instantly seated upon entering. The waiter had just finished "cleaning" the table. The cardboard drink coasters had drips and stains from prior customers. The plastic coated menu was grimy with dried food as were the salt and pepper shakers. The place wasnt terribly busy. My husband and I laughed nervously at each other as we commented on the conditions. We had both looked forward to eating at this restaurant but finally admitted to each other we were afraid to eat the food. If what we see immediately upon entering is this dirty, what is the kitchen like? We paid for our drinks and went to the place around the corner. So sorry, I have no comment at all about the food. The staff were friendly and attentive. We chickened out. I have never done that before.

We booked a room before the 4th of July week-end for 2 nights. We tried booking elsewhere but it was full. Then we read the reviews and had concerns. Another place in McGregor called us back in late June to let us know they had an opening. We booked there and were very happy with accommodations. We then called to cancel our room @ the Alexander, and when we called, they thought we were booking a room and we made it clear, no we were cancelling! In reviewing our credit card account on line when we got home, we found we were charged $72.18! We immediately called the hotel and of course they didnt remember us calling and cancelling. We called the credit card company to (HSBC) to challenge the charge. Its still not resolved! So DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD # and find a different place to stay!

Oh my goodness. Let me tell you about my experience here. Our party of four walked in, we were directed to our table and as I pulled my chair out there were over 200 ants crawling around a French fry that had been there for who knows how long. I stood and stared at while some people around me that already had their food laughed and said "its only some ants". Eww. My family ordered food but I was too scared too. One of the two waiters that was working brought us our drinks and spilled one all over the floor. When we received out salsa, the waiter had his thumb in it and sat it down. One of our orders was wrong, they had no lemons for water. Overall the place is gross and I felt dirty just sitting in the place. Would NOT recommend.

I stayed one night in this dirty, filthy, fire trap of a hotel. When I got home I found a $150.00 charge on my credit card. I disputed the charge with my credit card company. The credit card company contacted the owner who told them that I had smoked in the room. I dont smoke. The credit card company sided with the hotel, because thats the way things work. All he has to do is say that you smoked and he gets to steal your money. THIS GUY KNOWS HOW TO STEAL YOUR MONEY ONCE HE GETS YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. DO NOT GIVE THIS HOTEL YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. WARNING: DONT TAKE A CHANCE. HE MIGHT STEAL FROM YOU NEXT. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

Horrible experience. ..service was terrible...sodas was flat waiter never came back to check on us in the beginning so had to flag a waitress to exchange warm and flat pepsi..asked for a Mt dew and it was just as bad...ordered chicken tacos and they were so cold the cheese didnt melt...I asked for no cheese too...I had to get up to go pay at the bar..keep in mind 3 tables that had customers and three waiters. ..I would not recommend this place at all....our waiter was the worst Ive ever had...I left no top and left half eaten dinner platter on the table...not ashamed to leave my name on this post Sam Gomez

My friends and I stopped in town to grab something to eat, as we had been enjoying a day filled with motorcycle riding and phenomenal scenery. We where greeted instantly in walking through the doors and seated. Superb service, I must say, my last memory of Mexican food like this, was in Cozumel. I enjoy mexican food 2 times a week or more, trying different places that claim authenticity, thank you staff and cooks, rest assured i will make that 2 1/2 drive once a month!!! Highly recommend the mango Margarita!!!

My girlfriend and I used to eat at the Latinos all of the time but today she found a small black hair in her food. When she showed the owner Louis(sp?) He offered her a free pop to "make it right" ( which she dosnt drink pop so didnt get) a few minutes later I also found a small repulsive hair in my food. The owner stated that the hair was not the "right shade" so it could not have the cooks. We will never eat here again due to their lack of concern and poor hygiene.

Hello. My name is Bridgette and I have been camping in Wyalusing with my dad since I was a baby and I am now 16. Every year we go to the Alexander hotel and eat breakfast and sometimes stay at the hotel. Sam has been like family to me. He is so nice, friendly, and funny. I am on my way to the Alexander Hotel right now and cant wait to see Sam. I extremely recommend this hotel for its awesome breakfasts and very comfortable rooms.
