I would like to say that this location has lost my entire business. Today, after a company picnic, co-workers and I joined each other for some after hours fun. We were the only party in the picnic area, about 10 adults, with a child. As an adult, after a long day we all wanted to grab a drink. The mother of the child was not consuming any alcohol for the sake of her child being around us. Apparently, after a horrible experience, a waitress decided to take it upon herself to judge our entire group and bring it to a manager that we were an unsafe environment for a child. I will admit, we had a member that had consumed a volume of alcohol, however, their actions should not reflect on the entire party. Some of our guests were told to remove themselves from the establishment (the mother, child, and grandfather) - none of which had been consuming alcohol. Another one of our guests was cornered by this particular server, practically telling him that we were irresponsible for bringing a child around us while we are consuming some alcohol. This guest was then refused service, after only having ordered one beer from the time we arrived (about and hour in). I believe this to be a poor act of customer service. I, myself, have been a server. I understand some guests can be a little out of hand, however, at the end of the day customer service is everything. It is highly unprofessional to judge customers, considering we are your source of running a business. This particular server, wasnt even servicing us - a bartender was. We were completely uncomfortable about the situation, many of us left the establishment due to how we were made felt: NO CUSTOMER SHOULD HAVE TO FEEL THIS WAY. Needless to say, they will no longer be getting our business.

This location continues to decline. I placed an order for pick-up recently and the phone rang 10+ times before it was answered, when I said I wished to place an order the woman put me on hold, nine minutes later another woman picked up the line and asked what she could help me with (didnt acknowledge my long wait, didnt know I wanted to place order). Curt phone service after that. When I asked for a dozen wings she just said "They dont come in that number anymore" (I forgot they changed). I had to ask for info, it was never offered. I arrived on time to pick up order, not ready for another ten minutes. Clerk at register couldnt "ring me out" another 5 min wait for other clerk. None of the staff were the least bit friendly or helpful. Floor was scattered with litter throughout the customer areas I could see, uncleared tables, waitresses standing or talking to each other, I caught sight of kitchen while waiting for my order, considered skipping out, staff were unkempt, work surfaces messy/scattered with bits of food/condiments, floor around fryer had accumulated grease and food, provided with general appearance of disorganized careless unclean kitchen. The wings tasted fine, flavors consistent with what I have received in the past. This site used to be a good place to visit, Im not likely to return now.

Waitress Myah was attentive in the beginning with getting our drinks and orders. Asked for a straw that was missed when she had thought she given us the right amount of straws. Simple mistake that was going to be easily solved. It had taken her to give us a straw when we had asked another waitress who brought out our food to give us our straw. Not only that but I had ordered a buffalo ranch chicken sand which with no ranch and onions. I had received a buffalo ranch chicken wrap with onions since it was part of the pico de gallo. I didnt mention that she had placed my order wrong even though when she had repeated my order she said sand which not wrap. Idk if that was a kitchen mistake or not but I was upset when it had onions and did not want to wait for the correct order since everyone at my table was pretty much done eating. This was on a Sunday around 2pm during the slow shift with not a lot of people here to serve. Myah wasnt as apologetic and said I didnt have to pay for my meal. But I will not be coming back to this BWW location. This location is a hit or miss and I got the miss part of it.

I went there for Super Bowl Sunday. I was surprised when the Bar area was blocked off to "VIP" only. The dining area of the restaurant was almost full. There was one table open. I was told by some young fellow that since I wasnt on the "VIP" list I wasnt allowed to sit at the bar. I looked past him at 2 occupied tables in the bar area and 2 gentlemen sitting at the bar... then looked back behind me at the full dining area... then back at the bar area and asked him again if I could go sit at the empty, and I emphasized the word "empty" bar area. He told me that since I wasnt a "VIP" I couldnt sit in the bar area. Instead of making a fuss about it I left the bar and took my $45 that I would have spent there and drank and watched the game at Quintons, right next door where they didnt have a VIP area with 2 people sitting in it. I will not be going back there. Aside from that their wings are mediocre at best. Brothers in downtown Iowa City has much much better wings.

Slowwwe. I was here on a business trip, just 1 person. I waited for 10 minutes to be seated, even though there wasnt a line, then I waited 15 minutes before finally waving the manager down to ask him what was up, so he took my drink and food order, and offered to pay for the drink.... The waiter comes and just says " I didnt know that this was my table" so anyways food took quite awhile, had to ask for a drink refill, then the waiter brings my bill for the full amount, so I had to tell him that he needed to talk to his manager who did tell him to take the drink back off. I probably wont be back to this location. I was only 1 person and it took over an hour to eat here, and I eat fast.

Typical BWs, nothing special. Not a huge fan of this specific location anymore. We tried to order a late night pick up order (12:30am) & the lady that answered the phone basically told us yes then changed her mind & said it would take 10 minutes to make our wings (simple) & they have to lock the doors at 1am. Im not a genius but if we ordered our EASY food at 12:30am & it only takes 10 minutes to make them & we were 1 block away, wouldnt that be enough time to get it done. BASICALLY what happened was the cooks screamed at her & said NO MORE ORDERS WE WANT TO GO HOME! Not impressed! Over this place!

Good food, but overpriced. Service staff is all over the place, which is a management and training issue. The worst part of the experience is that condiments are forgotten more often than not, are given out as sparingly as liquid gold, and take too long to prepare. If I ask for 2 extra bleu cheese sauces, this should not take more than seconds to retrieve and should never be questioned, especially if Ive asked once already.
