Well, I will not be giving my business to Shueys anymore. The previous owner of the once known (Sheuyville Convenience) gas station Mark Cross was more welcoming than Rachel K. Would You feel very welcome or comfortable in an environment in which the part owner tells you "Youve got three minutes left before you can eat"? excuse the **** out of me for having my radio clock accidentally set three minutes fast. And its not a good idea to ask someone for a tip. My mother owned a bar back in 1981. A "tip" is a reward system. And Rachel, if you ever read this. Ive tried to figure out why you hate me for the past year and Ive drawn no conclusion. Is it really that hard for you to show a shred of respect to the person who gives you $11.78 every other day?

I went with friends. I ordered the pork tenderloin. It was incredibly dry. Our waitress was rude and flighty. She was more concerned with flirting with and serving guys than even giving us silverware when she had already brought us food, we had to catch someone else working and ask her. Our waitress had a snotty attitude and when we left she got super weird. It felt like she was attempting to flirt with us to get us to stay. I will not be back. 20$ for one double drink and a sandwich that was not exactly great. However the place was clean and they have potential to jave a really nice outdoor area if they would take the time to clean it up.

Food was average bar food, service just average or below. There last on a quiet Sunday and grabbed the first table past the bar area.Sandwiches were ok, nachos below grade for a small town Iowa place, and drinks arrived almost correct compared to what was ordered. Small town feel with big chain service, quality and comfort. Disappointing as this was a 4 or 5 star stop for the price 3 years ago. Lots of good places in Solon or S Cedar Rapids for those heading N or E.

Nice and clean!! Love the wood work. Bathrooms were spotless!! Staff was friendly but a little preoccupied. I ordered the Reuben. It had way too much 1000 island on it. Mashed potatoes were very good. Gravy was also very good. I bet this is a fun place to hang out late at night. Your typical small town Iowa watering hole with some nice dining areas in the back. Oh, and I hear they have live music from time to time. Cool!!

Second time weve gone here and both times weve had super slow service. We ordered hamburger and wings and it took an hour to get our food. Sat with empty beers for quite awhile. Saw both waitresses on cellphones. Think they were understaffed for the crowd but felt like there could of been more hustle. Wings and fries were good. Hamburger was a pre-made patty just ok.

If you know you are going to have an EVENT. Have enough people on hand to take orders for drinks and food. I was looking forward to eating and having a brew. Was waiting for someone to take my order for 35 mins. No one ever came. Looked to me as if only 3 people were working. SAD, sad, sad. Someone dropped the ball!!

This place was easy to find and able to accommodate large groups, but the service was very slow, and it was difficult to flag somebody down to get our bill. They had a large selection of alcohol, and the food was good. It was also clean and had a good atmosphere.

First time in for lunch. Quite possibly the nastiest waitress Ive encountered in the area. Unfriendly and downright rude. The spicy fried spring rolls were inedible. We were not charged for them. Keep driving. One and DONE.

I had the barbecue pork sandwich the last time I was here. The BBQ sauce on that sandwich was as good as it gets. Servers are always friendly. A hidden gem that you wont find in many small towns these days.
