Absolutely fantastic atmosphere! Very new-age style with awesome color changing lights; the bar is fantastically lit up. The menu has a plethora of great items to choose from. It is easy to spend $100 between two people there for a dinner, but it is well worth the price because it is so delicious! Probably one of the best in town. Our server was good, but the hostess was quite cranky.. I think she needs a hug or something.... but be on the lookout for a blond girl with glasses and chest tattoos. Im not too sure what her deal was, but you better not ask where the bathroom is or she will lose it! She was the only downside to this restaurant. She immediately acted like she was doing us a favor by having to seat us. At first she was going to put us at a table literally right next to the front door when it was the dead of winter and it wasnt busy at all (there was only one other table occupied in the dining room), so we asked if we could sit somewhere a little farther away since it wasnt busy. Her response was, "OK, well then why dont YOU tell me where we should go, and Ill follow?" So uncomfortably we asked if we could just sit in the bar side, and she huffed about it. Once we got to our table, my boyfriend started to ask, "where is the bathroom here?", but quickly he saw it and said "Oh, never mind I see it." This prompted the host to complain about how "stupid people are normally for asking where the bathroom is, as if they cant use their eyes" and so forth about all the things customers annoy her with. Thought it was a little rude and unpleasant, especially since this is such a nice restaurant. I have worked in the food service industry so I understand the struggles sometimes, but asking politely to sit somewhere where it isnt freezing isnt a huge deal; also if I owned that restaurant I would be quite upset that one of my employees was complaining about customers immediately upon arrival. She should probably find another job if she doesnt like people this much :( Overall: amazing food, wonderful atmosphere and decor, cranky hostess, kind server.

What a surprise! We were visiting the area, and wanted to treat or son to a nice sushi lunch. Wow! The ambiance is upscale, but the prices are very reasonable. The staff were SO incredibly nice and helpful. And the food was SUPERB! The presentation was absolutely beautiful. Small flowers and delicately folded leaves garnished the plates making for a visual treat. And the food was just as delicious as it was beautiful. And to make it all better: My wife has a serious gluten allergy (Celiac), and they had a whole section of the menu that was Gluten-Free - including deep-fried shrimp with coconut and fried rice! Its the first time in 25 years that my wife has been able to enjoy a deep fried Chinese dish at a restaurant. She was in tears with joy. The chefs made every effort to accommodate her - They even served the sushi with Gluten-Free soy sauce! Cant say enough nice things about this restaurant. Well be back!

The restaurant is nice, clean and service is good but the food is only....okay. I had the Singaporean rice noodles, wasnt very impressed. Its like any generic fried rice noodles you could find in different version of "Asian" restaurants in the area. I also tried ramen beef noodle which, IMO, tastes a bit more flavorful with anise and cinnamon. The (very) good thing about this restaurant is that they serve (very) large portion. At $14 for my Singapore rice noodles dish, it could pass for two servings. Overall an okay experience. I would recommend to give it a try, unless youre already and very familiar with some of the "Asian" dishes and tastes, in which case I dont think this restaurant does anything significantly different with their dishes.

I tried Woochi for the first time yesterday. The service was a little slow for a nearly empty restaurant. The spicy tuna (my favorite) is the kind thats adulterated with a lot of panko crumbs, so its dry and crunchy and more like "sort of spicy tuna meal". A trick of cut-rate sushi bars, and very disappointing although the cats were giving high fives. I tried another unmemorable roll that had tempura shrimp inside, which was overcooked, and so little salmon on the outside I forgot it was supposed to be there. The beef skewers were chewy and surprisingly greasy, like the cheap meat they put on dive bar sub. I feel kind of ripped off, honestly. Gordon Ramsay F word!!!!!

Had an early dinner, we were the only ones in the place and still had marginal service. I have been to Sushi, Teppanyaki and Yakiniku restaurants before and Woochi doesnt measure up. The sushi rolls were ok, the appetizers were good and the entrees were fair. If the prices had been in line with how good the food was overall I might have given it 4 stars. They may have been training new staff the night we were there but still, the experience was only decent. Woochi is definitely off my list.

I am not rating this based on their food- their food would be 5 stars. I have had the same issue the past two times I went. Not being waited on. The host forgot to tell the server on two different occasions that they had sat me. Someone whom came in after me was even waited on before me the last time. In my opinion they need to hire a better host not one whom is too busy socializing with other staff members than to pay attention to the clientele they seat.

Sushi wise, its just like Zing. Good and the sushi lunch special is very affordable. The only problem with Woochi and Zing is its really hard to do an hour lunch break at either place. I placed an order on the phone at Woochi and they said it would be 15 minutes. I got there at about the 15 minute mark and I waited an extra 25 minutes, and it wasnt even busy. I hope they can figure how to speed things up.

Another fine meal at La Salle Grill! Enjoyed one of the special wine dinners. What a wonderful, five-course dinner with delicious courses and excellent wines for each course. We have had many outstanding dinners here with an outstanding wine list. Just great, friendly service accompanies terrific food and wine/beer. Many thanks for the fine quality of food and service!

Woochi is perhaps the nicest restaurant to come to South Bend in years. Not only is the food delicious and extremely high quality, but the focus on the dining experience and attention to detail is beyond any other restaurants in the area. Downtown South Bend is becoming better all the time, and dining experiences of this caliber will continue to help it grow.

Ive tried a variety of items on the menu, and everything was great. It has quite an interesting atmosphere, as the bar area is as large as the standard dining area, and turns club in the evening. Everything was bathed in blue light, even early in the evening. The food presentation was also beautiful, which isnt always common around the area.

Although this restaurant is a little expensive for the Spokane area, the food was excellent and thoughtful. The flavors were interesting and brought out the best in the food offered. It was a pleasure that the vegetables were the star of my meal, not just a throw away side dish. Also nice was a gluten free menu that made my...
