I have been to Golden Corral about six times and I have finally told myself "no more." Same menu never changes and the buffet lines usually run out of the same selection. I thought I would try the breakfast buffet that they offer on the weekends. After that experience I dont want to eat breakfast no more. We were there around 9:30 a.m. and they stopped serving some of the food. There was only one piece of ham when I went through the line so I decided to wait for more. Staff said they were not putting any more ham out on the line. I wanted a piece of toast or an English muffin . . . they either dont have that or that is another item they ran out of. Decided to have some thick French toast . . . no syrup. The bacon was very greasy and partially cooked. The hash browns were hash whites, barely fried. The salad bar is fine but that is not why I go to a breakfast buffet. The rest rooms were clean, but the overall cleanliness is only so-so. One of the biggest problems I had and is certainly the main turnoff for me is that the produce delivery man just wheeled his dolly and boxes of produce right into the prep area. Who knows what bugs, bacteria, or disease his is wheeling right into the kitchen area. You would think the Health Department would not allow this. This was a total waste of money. We had very little to eat and decided to go and have a regular meal at a regular restaurant. I thought when this place opened up Old Country Buffet would be in trouble, but they dont have anything to worry about. I dont understand why they consistently have lines waiting to get in; this place is not so spectacular. I guess if you dont mind paying high prices and being crammed in like cattle, then this is your kind of eating establishment.

Myself and my husband went to the Mishawaka, IN Golden Corral this past Saturday 11/08/14. The service was TERRIBLE! We wanted to eat breakfast. We got our food, left the table for 3 minutes and the bus boy had removed all of our food and full drinks of water, coffee and tea. My husband was so frustrated and didnt want to continue to eat there. When the floor manager came, we explained to him what happened, asked for our money back and the manager said, no he could not give us our money back. He would fix us some more food instead. We did not want that, we wanted to leave with our money. It was loud, noisy and very dirty. Food and crumbs were all over the tables and floors. Since was had paid $25 we went on and got a plate of food. Sat there, tried to eat but was too frustrated and asked for the manager over him. It took that manager 20 minutes to come. We explained to him what happened, he was very rude, through us the restaurant and threated to call the police on us because we wanted our money back. That was thee worst experience that Ive ever had with a large chain food restaurant in my life! Ill never eat there again, and would advise anyone else to!

Golden Corral is hit or miss. Not worth the long lines outside the door though! My issue is when Im there, I see customers getting their food and while theyre waiting, theyll eat off of their plates (w/ their fingers NO silverware) and then grab the tongs and get more food! Its so disgusting! I try not to people watch when Im there but its so trifling and I wish people would take into consideration that they are NOT the only ones eating there! They defeat the purpose of using the hand sanitizer, IF they actually use it before getting their food! *sigh* This place is so overrated, Id rather go elsewhere or stay home and cook! I always try my best to talk my bf out of eating here but he always says that its the best place for the kids to get what they want and get full...Shouldve kept Old Country Buffet, Ponderosa and Ryans here smh

We stopped in for dinner this past Tuesday. We were not pleased. The food was mediocre at best (with buffet standards in mind, not fine dining). The gentleman cutting meat was rude. Actually, all of the employees on the food line seemed very unhappy. Granted it was 2 hours before closing time but that is no excuse. The restaurant itself smelled like sweaty laundry and I couldnt help but wonder when it had last been deep cleaned. I decided to never return after grabbing two different serving spoons covered in something gooey. The best part about our experience was our server. She was very polite, professional and diligent (we have had bad service in the past from different staff). I have slowly watched the decline of this restaurant since it first opened. I feel that it is management related and we will not be returning.

This place is great, from the time you arrive till you leave. We always get our fill for the price, I hear all the time " how much..this is rediculous " lol have you been to McDonalds or chedders lately you can spend $50 easy and its usually not filling or they forgot something or your waiting to just get your food? The variety of food omg you wont be able to eat everything in one sitting, kind of like going to a amusement park and being able to see everything in one day. You guys do a great job, and the child like whining.. Like omg I got a hair in my Sweet and sour chicken, you do know this is a open bar right? Hundreds to thousands of people come threw this place a day lol I couldnt do what the managers do their lol hope they get paid well.. Just saying great place.

Well first the food was phenomenal but we had a very bad experience with customer service. It was my mothers 75th birthday they even sent get a birthday coupon as we were getting our food my mom went up to have the meat cutter cut her some prime rib he was very rude she blew it off. Then she went back to get more she asked for rare he give her a end cut really..So she asked for another piece he was so rude on giving her it as if he bought the meat; needless to say, she only has a couple of teeth so eating the end wasnt an option I went and told the manager. He apologized to me but nobody came and apologized to my mom and the cutter stayed cutting. I feel they are rude and the meat departments act like they bought the meat . No!!!! we bought the meat just saying.
