Are you from the West Coast (or East Coast or Chicago) and dismayed by the utterly terrible attempts at pizza Tippecanoe County boasts? Well, while Parkway Pizza and Subs cant top a best list in Seattle, Portland or San Francisco, it certainly wouldnt be laughed at in those cities. Its my familys refuge in an otherwise desert of bad pizza (Im a West Coast guy, if you fancy thin crust these guys do that well too, but thats not my area of expertise). By the way, yeah, they serve gyros. Normally, I hate fusion. Heres the thing, the owners are largely from Turkey. If you know your pizza history you know flat breads trace their lineage through the Mediterranean. The pita and pizza crust arent distant cousins, theyre siblings. So these guys know crust and well, they dont make a bad gyro either. For West Coast pizza lovers this wont replace your favorite pie back home, but it will get you through the long wait before you can make it to your favorite pizza house. If you want the best pizza in Tippecanoe County, this is your place.

I concur with Kyle. Parkway Pizza delivers what Im looking for in a quality pizza. Recently, I shouted at the manager at Foxs Den Pizza. They outsource their pizza to Hungry Boiler and they always mess up our orders -- and neither party wants to take responsibility. So, we started looking for a new alternative for pizza delivery. We stumbled upon Parkway Pizza and Im pleased to say weve found our new favorite in town. We ordered a large medium cheese traditional crust as well as a thin crust sausage. Both crusts were baked to perfection. The cheese is delicious (not fake) and perfectly melted. The sausage was tasty. Delivery was on time. Delivery man was very courteous. We will be ordering again with this type of quality and service.

I orderd the 12" italian sub. The pictures on the menu lead me to expect a certain level of substance. There WAS meat and cheese on it, but very little. By very little, I mean there wasnt enough cheese to cover the 3 very thinly sliced pieces meat. It may have been the right portion for a 6" sub, but I ordered a 12". I would say the ratio of meat/cheese to bread is 100:1. It was almost inedible, because all I could taste was crunchy bread. The only reason this review wasnt one star, is because I tried their cheese bread and it was acceptable. I dont know if I will risk spending any more money at this joint. Unfortunately, it seems that Parkway Pizza & Subs may go the way of Mancinos.

I started working right next door a while back, and naturally had to try ever restaurant in the area. Ive eaten almost every day now, and Ive yet to find anything on the menu that (assuming the dish in question is not already against your taste) is not amazing. They are quick to make the food. It always arrives hot and nicely cooked, which for a delivery can be difficult. Most of all, the entire place has a family owned feel to it. No skimping on toppings, and everyone is nice.

Ive been searching the West/Lafayette area for 4 years for decent pizza. Sure, Hotbox is decent, and the recent Sylvias Brickoven has great fancy gourmet pizza, but neither was the pizza I really wanted. I ordered a thin crust veggie pizza from Parkway tonight, and it was great! Very good crust, generous toppings, not too fancy, but also not fast-foodish like Hotbox (or Pizza hot). I look forward to trying their sandwiches next.

One time I went here and got the best pizza Ive ever had. The next time it was more like Chuck E Cheeses tasting pizza so it might have been the cook but the food is fantastic for the price. Its usually clean but sometimes their soda machine gunks up and someone leaves a mess. Really good place to eat though, I come around a lot when I want a good sub that isnt too expensive. They also deliver which is cool.

New favorite pizza place in town!! Great thin crust :) Fast delivery. The online ordering system really allowed me to order exactly what I wanted. I was even allowed to put oregano on my half of the pizza. Family never lets me do that because they prefer without and no other online ordering system allowed me to do this.

I think your pizzas are absolutely delicious. however, when I ordered today Nov 17, 2013 I got my pizza and it was visually unacceptable. It looks as if pieces were missing from it. I dont know how the workers could have taken it from the oven and thought it okay to give to a customer. very disappointed.

Weve been here many times and the food has been consistently good. Weve never had a bad experience dining here. The menu has a great variety of sandwiches, pizza, calzones and Mediterranean dishes. We plan on being regular customers

I ordered wings and fries for delivery. The delivery took over an hour and the food was soggy and sub par. There are many better restaurants in the area serving the same kind of food, I would recommend you go elsewhere.

Ive been eating their pizzas for years and they are consistently very good. Fast and friendly delivery and the pizza usually arrives piping hot and fresh. The pizza actually is better than it was a couple years ago.

I love the food, we order all the time, but we placed an order at 9:30 PM online tonight. RICK called us back and told us they were closed. It says 10 PM for close.. just didnt want to make it?
