One of my regular social spots. Tini has a great modern atmosphere with properly priced drinks. In fact I would argue the drinks are some of the cheapest on Mass Ave AND some of the best drinks, period. The bartenders are sometimes hit and miss with their mixology skills but they are fast to respond when you give them the "Im ready for a drink" look. The sometimes have themed nights, like throwback Thursday, where they play fun music from the past, but regardless of which night the music is good (typically DJd by DJ Knayte). The nice thing about this bar is that its not a "gay" bar but is extremely gay friendly, which results in a nicely diverse crowd. One of the marks I use to judge an establishment is the behavior of the owner. Most of the times you are completely unaware the establishment has an owner, however you can regularly see the owner out and about making drinks or even wiping down tables. Definitely one of my favorite gay-friendly bars with a fun, modern atmosphere for good drinks.

When it comes to bars, Im a pretty big snob. More than anything, I look for a professional and knowledgeable staff and good cocktails. PROS - Excellent staff (Curtis was behind the bar and does a fantastic job) - Bright and clean decor - Very reasonable prices CONS - Decor doesnt really fit the quality of the bar program - it looks more like a nightclub than a cocktail bar TIP Go early to get a good seat and enjoy the bar before the place gets too crowded.

Sad this place isnt the same from two years ago. Service was great, drinks were fantastic, I ordered one particularly I used to order and I happen to not like it nor did it taste at all what it was. Didnt even drink it but paid full price. Not coming back sadly.

Everyone was very friendly, including the bartenders. Trying to decipher how the videos related to the music led my wife to accuse me of being autistic for staring at video screens rather than dancing with her. Overall, an interesting, if confusing experience.

if youre like me and new to town, this is a gay bar. 1. Im not gay. 2. the staff was not a fan of having me in there apparently. I had to fight to get back in to get my card after I walked my friend to the uber. at 2:50am.

Generally fun, Drinks are always effective! Sometimes a victim of its own success in the sense that crowds can be thick here. This is a downtown bar, with a linear urban layout. Be ready to fight for a drink from time to time.
