I never heard about this place or had any food from there until our manager brought in some different breakfast rolls for the employees. That was the first time I had it and I loved it. I love the egg and cheese and egg, bacon and cheese. I decided to go there and bring some home one morning. If you put it in the microwave, you can warm it up. If you dont feel it is "quite done enough" for you, you can microwave it. I think it is delicious--I can recommend it. For those people that dont like it, well, nothing can please everyone. If they dont feel like it is done enough for them, put in in the microwave (or if you eat at the store, have them heat it up for you in the microwave). I know they asked me, even though it was carry-out, if I wanted it heated up. I think it is great!!

First (and LAST) time ever there. Kolache Factory actually makes money selling these TINY, undercooked globs of crap? OMG, AND I had a coupon that the male cashier with an attitude would NOT honor. Oh, because its 5.00 or MORE for a lousy free cup of coffe. Receipt #444 9:04am 8/27/11 came to 4.78 but I HAVE TO SPEND 5.00 LOL ! nevermind. I just two egg, bacon & cheese clups of kolache. Didnt change by take-out bag untio I got home - MY ORDER WAS WRONG ! ROFL. And make sure you guys keep the two Sheriff guys outside their patrol car parked in front. Scare MORE customers away. I will NEVER go back to that lousy place and will make sure I tell everyone how rotten the food, service, and prices are.

Hey its a decent and unique tasting food. The italien chicken is really good. Skip the sausage one though, its basically a breakfast link in dough. Breakfast oriented scrambled egg ones and fruit are also winners. Keeps early hours though and microwave the food to finish it up. Probably not ideal but I dont think they can afford to have food expiring in heating lamps or the like. Wouldnt mind so much if they could at least employ a convection cooker instead though. Also, complaining about a coupon is for chumps. Coupons only feed marketing, if youre going to a place for a coupon youve already lost.

If you are looking for something unique and inexpensive, this is the place to visit. For the uninformed, a "kolache" is a delicious sweet bun filled with anything from fruit to ham and cheese to Italian chicken. My favorites are the Italian chicken and the pepperoni and mushroom kolaches. Among my husbands favorites are the club (ham, chicken, and roast beef) and the turkey and stuffing kolaches. The only downside I can think of for this place is the hours... they close early so the best time to go is for breakfast or an early lunch before the best kolaches run out.

Went there for the first time today, 11/16/09 to the one at 96th and Allisonville around 12:00ish. The store was dirty, the floor full of food, table covered in crumps, chairs and tables all over the place some tables without chairs and the funny part was it was not crowded. The staff didnt seem to speak very good english (I beleive they were hispanic), my first 3 choices were already sold out and the next flavors I choose were served only slightly warm. The taste was ok but it was my fourth choise. I will try a kolache again but probably not at this store.

This place would not honor my Trade Voucher because I didnt make my order within 24 hours and didnt specify that it was a lunch tray. I wasnt told this when I won the voucher, so how was I to know. So, I put in an order for around $50 worth of Kolaches, but they wouldnt allow me to use the voucher, so they forced me to cancel. They could have had their food introduced to a bunch of people but instead just lost out having anyone try their food, instead everyone knows that they have terrible customer service.

We were there in the middle of the day, but they were already out of almost everything. There was a significant language barrier with the cashier, so we did not get what we ordered (sadly, because the kolaches all look the same there is no way to know until you bite in that you were given the wrong items). What we received tasted OK, but it was not what we requested. The tables were dirty.

What is magical ball that makes my tongue smile? Is it a donut? No, it is a kolache. These wonderful warm doughy creatures come in a variety of flavors and I will eat every last one of them. We would get them more often if they werent quite so expensive.

We have brought several out of town guests here and everybody has absolutely loved it! Its fun, its cheap, and its delicious. My favorite is the scrambled eggs kolache but my husbands favorite is the jalapeno popper. I would definitely recommend it!

I love Kolache Factory, but they really dropped the ball for our party platter. The order was placed 3 hours ahead of time but was not ready at pickup. And since it wasnt ready, many of the kolaches ordered were not available. Terrible service.

Food had no taste, first bite was into an uncooked dough ball. The philly cheese steak tasted like hamburger meat. Texas Polish was filled with uncooked sausage. Very over priced. The website is nothing like the actual location.

Great to grab on the go, reasonably priced, and tastes great. Wish there was a bit more filling, especially in the meatball, but still good. BBQ chicken is one of my favorites.

Kolaches are a special treat that my parents would sometimes get for us in the weekends. Can be expensive if you have a few more mouths to feed. Delicious and satisfying!

I used to work next door and the lovely smell of yeast bread was a killer. The people who work there are so nice and the kolaches are excellent!
