I ordered a shrimp taco (on special) it was ok namely because it had rice on it - Im not a fan of rice on tacos, and it only had 1 shrimp on it... i also ordered a chorizo taco which was awesome spicy as can be albeit somewhat dry but great nonetheless, lastly i ordered a steak quesadilla and this is where i was most disappointed, my quesadilla had lettuce tomatoes and what i suspect to have been some kind of dressing or maybe sour cream on it... i have been to mexico probably 30 times in the last 3 years (i drive a semi for a living) and have never had tacos down there that resembled what i had today... im not saying that my experience was bad, but it certainly didnt live up to the hype i read about online

Indy Tacos is a great hole-in-the-wall Mexican place that keeps getting better. The style of Mexican is very reminiscent of what you would get in the Southwest, and their freshly made guacamole is the best youll find in Indy. Their servers are always friendly and usually attentive, depending on how busy it is. Speaking of which, Indy Tacos is usually somewhat busy, but Ive never seen it packed or had to wait for a table--though maybe that will change someday. It has become a go-to for family dinners and taking out-of-town friends out for a meal. And theres always some kind of improvement every time we go--from new decor to exciting new menu items. Check it out if youre in the area!

This is by far the worst place i have eaten in a long time. I really wish i could give this place 5 stars, however it was plain bad. I ordered a veggie burrito, taco, rice and beans. The burrito and the taco were soaked in grease, they had burnt veggies, and over all a greasy taste. The rice was chrunchy with no flavor, and the beans tasted overcooked and as if they had come out of a 2 year can. Im very dissapointed as there are so many other places with great food for less. ( bakersfield, tamale place, la chinita pablana, joes, and even pacos) I was really hoping for a positive experice but my wallet is now empty and my mouth is left with a burnt greasy taste.

Used to be 5 stars but recent expirience was very bad. Food was soggy and inedible, waitress ignored us multiple times, food took forever and they werent even very busy. Very sad, as I said, my previous review was 5 stars and we frequented the place but feels like a total lack of structure. Employees do whatever they want. Food quality is trash. I dont know if theyve changed ownership or something but it was so much better before. Havent decided if I will give them another chance or not. For now, youre much better off going a couple blocks north to cancun or honestly Taco Bell is an improvement.

LOVE Indy Tacos!! My husband and I eat here at least three times a month. The fish tacos used to be our favorite (the slaw on top is awesome) until we tried the al pastor tacos. They are juicy with a little spice and a little sweet. Really excellent. Now the hardest decision we have is which tacos to get!! On one occasion, right at the end of the evening, I got an al pastor taco that was a little overdone and dry, and it was still one of the best tacos Ive ever had. Indy Tacos easily stacks up against the best SoCal taquerias. I tell everyone I know to eat here!

You MUST try the food in this new restaurant! I have tried everything on the menu and want to go back for more. The owners are so friendly and excited about the food they serve and they should be. IT IS DELICIOUS!! No Mexican restaurant that I have eaten in compares. The food is fresh. Love the El Pastor (Pork), Chorizo, Chicken and Steak. The guacamole was fresh, chunky and delicious. Authentic Mexican Food. You are definitely missing out if you dont go!

This place is awesome! Its small, its out of the way, it doesnt look fancy at all - but none of that matters because the food is great and the price is right. Ive enjoyed everything Ive eaten here - chicken mole, fish tacos, barbacoa and more. The service is great, too. Everyone is friendly, and they dont make me feel like an alien when I dont want onions on my tacos. A relaxed atmosphere, really nice people, outstanding food.

Dont let the outside fool you. This place has become a regular lunch spot for the excellent food and low prices, not to mention the friendly service. The weekly specials are usually worth a try (special shout out to the shrimp chimichangas!) but you also should check out the steak poblano, shrimp, fish, and al pastor tacos. Will definitely be back often.

Got two tacos and chips & queso. The tacos were great! Theyre double layered which was awesome, which was good to handle all the meat loaded on it. Definitely worth $2-3 per taco. Queso is good too! Its queso blanco which is different from a quick food typical place. Definitely worth the visit and will return again!

This place is legit, if you like Tacos go now. :) Doesnt look appealing from the outside, but Ive found the best taco spots never are. Service was above and beyond as well Im guessing the one negative review is from someone upset that they are losing business to Indy Tacos

Very good authentic street style tacos. But you need to try the steak quesadilla. Very filling , just the right crispiness and cheese is delicious. The fish taco is mild but tasty. Their red hot sauce is good for tacos but use the green for the quesadilla.

Their food is good but Im concerned about their kitchen hygiene. I ordered a veggie torta and half way in tasted pork in my sandwich stuck to the bread.....If your a vegetarian I wouldnt take my chances or just check your food first.

Very nice people, amazing food and the best queso you can find anywhere in the city. Love that you can eat in casually or call ahead and have your food ready when you get there. If you love tacos, this place is a must stop!

Indy Tacos serves up great, authentic Mexican tacos, tortas, and burritos. The only taco Id stay away from is the fish taco, which has too much coleslaw and tastes like a frozen fish filet, but otherwise, you cant go wrong.

Great local Tex-Mex food. Prices are great and you receive plenty of food for your money. Ive tried almost everything on their menu and have loved it all. A definite must stop for anyone in the Broadripple area.

I was a barber working next door when Indy Tacos first opened. They were good then and they are still good. It is great to see how much they have grown. I always felt they would be successful.

Two steak tacos.....incredible! Fresh ingredients, nothing pre-cooked. Weve been to many similar places around the country and this one beats all! My husband is a weekly regular now!

The food is pretty tasty. They have lots of inspired little twists and specials. I believe they sell beer as well. The prices are little high for a taco place.
