We just left this place and I felt it necessary to share some information with you. After we are almost done with our meal we look over at our waitress who was wrapping silver ware 2 tables away from us. She was talking to two men, one seemed to be on duty and the other off duty. There were 3 racks of silverware that were full that she was pulling from to wrap in napkins. As they were talking the one that was off duty was playing withe the silverware (eating side, not handle) he would pick up with his hands four or five - squeeze them, juggle them from one hand to another, tap them on the table and put them back in the rack, meanwhile the waitress, while talking, was grabbing from the racks and rollings them in napkins. He continued to do this as we watched for nearly 10 minutes and finally I called our waitress over and asked why she would allow him to play with the eating end of that silverware? She went over to the two mean, spoke a foreign language to them and they both huffed and walked away, she them called them back and they took all three racks of silverware away. Meanwhile about 50 rolled sets were placed in the bin and on tables. So I went to the hostess and told her what happened and asked to speak with the manager, she said of course and I went back to the table, we waited and waited and no one came, so I again went to the hostess and asked to speak to the manager and I was informed that she refused to talk to us. While I was trying to get the manager, the waitress brought the check to my husband and he paid the bill and tipped well (I was not happy that the waitress charged us full price too). So we paid, and I asked to speak to the manager again, and was told she would not talk to us and the owner of the place was not in town. WOW - now the man who was playing with all the silverware is sitting up by the check-in booth laughing and I am wondering to myself how this place can conduct business this way. I will make it my mission to make sure others know what happened and that the manager would not even apologize for our negative experience. Needless to say, we will not be back! POOR BUSINESS ETHICS

Went in to enjoy a good selection...ended up freezing the entire time. Granted it is 15 degrees outside and you can see your breath, but it was still warmer in the sunlight outside than in the building. The temperature inside had to be within 5 degrees of the outsude temperature. Everyone inside was wearing their jackets and hats just to eat. Im just glad they had warm bread. Especially since that was the only freshly cooked food on the buffet. The white parts of the cooked shrimp and crab meat were a rust colored off white and smelled really bad. The raw shrimp for the grill were dirty gray and sitting in a dirty gray colored water. Both were obviously sitting there for quite some time, if not from the day before. Granted the salad bar seemed tended to, but the majority of the food on the salad and desert bar was pre-made types of foods (i.e... cakes that only need cut and put on trays, pastries that come frozen and only need to thaw before eating.). Even the fresh fruit could have been better. There was hair in the fresh pineapple that could have been cut without leaving the core attached. The canned peaches were in dirty brown liquid as well. So, I must say that was the most expensive bread rolls and pre- packaged butter i have ever purchased. Only reason I am rating it more than zero is cause of the person waiting on us and because the grilled food wasnt that bad from what I was told (I wasnt taking a chance on eating it, thats for sure.). Mind you this was at 1pm on a Sunday afternoon with a moderate amount of people actually eating. I am sorry to say me and my family will no longer waste money on what seemed to be a decent family oriented resturaunt that has now gone so far down hill Im suprised they didnt already have the shovels.

Went for dinner on Monday night. Big mistake! 1. Im pretty sure all of the food was leftovers from lunch time. No fresh stuff. A lot of it looked old, crusty, or soggy. And just plain gross! 2.Apparently they dont have sushi anytime during the weekdays . They advertise that they do, but they DONT! Worker said only fri, sat, sun. 2. Then they only had 3 flavors of ice cream, & 8 spots. They just repeated the same flavors in multiple spots like no one would notice. 3. Then there was the restrooms. !! Ugh! So gross! They look liked they hadnt been cleaned for the past 3 years ago. & im not talking like detailed clean, like Im saying even basic things like wiping out a sink, using a brush in the toilet, or just basically sweeping & mopping! They were disgusting! I will leave the part out of everything that I seen in there, and let you use your imagination. if their restrooms look like this, (I ask this question on several occasions & reviews) how far off could the kitchen possibly be?? Their employees & owners go to the restrooms everyday. They see the state it is in, but do nothing to rectify the situation. So again I ask, what does the kitchen & prep areas look like!?!? If they dont care enough about something that the customers actually see, then you know they dont care about the stuff that the customers DONT SEE! Im just sayin.......

When for the first time as I had tried several other places around the area including indianapolis and was unimpressed. Ok...so I walk in and the atmosphere is pleasant, the hostess showed me to my seat and the second we entered the area where I was to be seated the oder that hit me was that of a musty animal shelter. I asked to sit elsewhere and it seemed to be better. As for the sushi, the selection was limited to say the least and the quality was subpar. The food on the main buffet was barley luke warm and grossly lacking in any flavor. To top off an already unpleasant meal, as Im eating my ice cream, which by the way was the best part of the meal, the waitress tells me I have to go up and pay my check NOW before I finish so the manager can count her money then I can finish my ice cream. I looked at the waitress (please excuse my language here) told her I thought I was pretty f##king rude to make somebody pay before having finished their meal just so they could go home faster. I paid and left without finishing. Needles to say..I WONT BE BACK. But I WILL be calling the BBB and the health department first thing in the morning. I travel all over the country and I have just made a new addition to my top 5 WORST restaurants. The ONLY reason it got 1 star is because it wont let you submit a review without it.

We used to like this place, but the food is going drastically downhill. Cleanliness does not even exist. Standing water in the server drink area, no sushi on Sat night. The ice cream removed for some reason when we first got there, and its the same 3 flavors in 8 spots. There was old crusty ice cream caked on the floor. Food was old, dried out and soggy. No ice in our drinks. Food caked on the walls. The bathroom was horrible, since weve been coming here a long time the floors remain the same, no sweeping or moping happening. One of the toilets where the baby changing table is had standing water on the floor. The standard brush in the toilet is not happening, and the sinks had hair in them, and never wiped down. I was too disgusted to eat (scared we would get food poisoning), and not coming back.
