First and probably last time I will go here. A co-worker and I went there on our lunch hour for carry out order of two lunch pizzas and a sandwich. It took an hour and ten minutes to get them. The pizzas were backing up on the oven belt while the employees were trying to figure out which pizzas was which. People dining in were getting up grabbing menus and their own drinks. Saw a couple guys clear their own table. I saw at least 5 people working there, so I cannot figure out why it took so long. When we got there it was not that busy. After waiting 25 minutes, we went to check on our food and found out they had yet to make our food. No explanation for why not. Then when finally boxing up the pizzas they decide to put the breadsticks that come with the lunch special in the oven. Then when I got back to the office, they made or gave us the wrong sandwich. I saw people in the dining area waiting 15-20 minutes to have their orders taken. Saw a group of six whose individual pizzas came out approx. 10 -15 minutes apart from each other. Last person had to have their pizza boxed up to go. Thought I might call in my order next time. However, spoke to a woman who called in an order for carry out and still took over an hour to get her food. Finally got an apology from owner/manager and offer of a free cookie. If I had not already paid for the food, I would have walked out when they told me 25 minutes into it that they had yet to make our pizzas.

Service was okay. We kinda came in late about 8:20 and they closed at 9. The waitress was more interested in getting everything done so she can go home anything going on with us. We both had spaghetti and meatballs with bread stick and salad. Bread sticks didnt seem homemade. Salad was old and from a bag. She gave me the wrong dressing and never was around to get the correct dressing. Once we got our spaghetti and meatballs it was just slightly better than Fazolis. We only got two small meatballs that were cut in half so they looked like four. Thats is so low rent. sauce was good for coming from a can. And the noodles were over cooked. I have had their Stromboli years ago and I remember that being good. So I was very surprise on the awful experience. I very fair person and wouldnt typically give such a bad review unless it was completely deserved.

The pizza is great, but wont be going back. After picking up a pizza for carry out that was incorrect and late, I asked for some of my money back (10%) after previously paying and leaving a tip for 10%! What I got was ridicule from the disgruntled owner and an employee that thought I was being "F@*King unbelievable." After a phone call the next day, the owner told me, "I know exactly who you are...Do you ask your doctor for money back when you have to wait longer?... Im having lunch, youll have to call back," Click. I didnt even get a word in. Usually a great place for a slice of pie. Have been going to Datsa for a couple of years and have even taken my family there. Have quite a few friends that also love the place and in fact have a birthday party scheduled there. If you go, hope your pizza is great. Just dont complain if it isnt.

idk why other people of had bad experince here but ive been working on the gym floor at tyndall morhead armory and me and my boss has had lunch here 4 times and its been perfect every single time.. all we have had was each had the small pizza and 2 bread sticks the first time and 3 large pizzas the other 3 times. now ya i wish they where a little more thcker crust but has never been over cook and its wonderful. even the emplyees have been great everytime ive gone in. i have no complaints and anyone that says the pizza is awful really have no idea what a good pie taste like. pizza is my fav. food and this is one of the best pizzas ive every had. if you have had bad service here then you prob. started it off with a nasty addittued and just trying to get a free meal..

Love, love, love this place. I think that local "hole in the wall" places have the best food on the planet. They offer a little something for everyone. Salads, pizza (duh), calzone, & hot sandwiches. They do have lunch and dinner specials on the back of the menu. Sometimes the service can be a little slow as there is on server and one cook, but that only happens during busy times. Im so sad to see that they now offer delivery and online ordering. They didnt have that back when I lived 5 blocks away. :( Normally I get a calzone as I tend to come here with picky eaters that dont like what I like. You get 5 reg toppings for $8.99 in the calzone. You can also get any of their pizzas in individual size for $10.75. Their garlic cheese bread is a must!!

No. Just no. I really wanted this to be a hidden gem with great hole in the wall pizza, but that was absolutely not the case. The pizza I received was stale-like in flavor and consistency, the "dinner salad" was hardly enough of a handful of lettuce to even be considered a garnish, and the breadsticks were rock solid. What saved the meal for us was some average cheesy bread and average spaghetti and meatballs; however, that was barely enough to earn you 2 stars. What happened? Why was our food so lackluster? Not recommended.

Being from NY/NJ here in Indy for school, Ive FINALLY found a great pizza spot. Although this is not NY style pizza (large slices), Datsa uses a blend of herbs on their pizzas giving it a great taste! The garlic bread (with cheese) is top notch as well. Easily one of the best pizza spots in Indy AND IVE TRIED A MILLION trying to find good pizza! Datsa Pizza and Girorgios Pizza (NY style, large slices) are the best in the downtown area, hands down.

Pretty common... Nothing stood out about this pizza its pretty average more like something you would find in a store bought pizza. I would not recommend eating inside as it is pretty run down and their equipment is old. I Also noticed that their kitchen was very disorganized and it didnt seem like anyone knew what they were doing.

Delivered through Order Up. Thin crust pizza is not supposed to be this chewy, and the toppings were small and scarce. Pizza Hut is a better option even though the sauce here is better. Ordered a supreme and the amount of toppings i got was closer to a 1 topping pizza with adequate toppings. Very disappointed.

Guy was super rude when picking up a pizza. Not to mention he told me it would be another 15 minutes when we waited 45 minutes and were told it would only take 25 minutes. It was so bad we decided not to actually get the pizza in the end. I do not recommend these guys.

Datsa worst pizza ever! I went here for lunch, service was scattered my pizza was undercooked and my buddies calzone was burnt. The place was packed and Im really surprised. The staff wasnt rude, the food was just not good. I wouldnt take a free meal from here.
