The warm environment of this little shop is made even more becoming with the aesthetic appeal of wall-to-wall artwork which is produced by local talent and can be purchased then and there. Collectively, their beverage and cafe menus provide considerable options which makes finding your cup of tea a favorable prospect. Their coffee is agreeable in taste and quality, to wit, I prefer to drink black coffee and their brews, both hot and cold, are enjoyable this way. I havent tried any of their other drink selections but have heard good things. Ive tried two of their cafe menu items so far, both were good and I look forward to exploring their menu further. The cold noodle side that came with both meals was kind of bland but better than other pasta salads Ive tried in the past. Parking is somewhat inconvenient in the evening. There are a few prime spots in front of the building, but the only other parking area Ive noticed is on the east end of the building and is not well-lit. Limited visibility could pose a hazard to motorists and pedestrians. If youre cautious then it should not pose a problem. Im guessing this is not something they have direct control of but it seemed noteworthy nonetheless. All in all this location is quite amicable and I will certainly be a return patron.

My husband and I go to Sip just about every weekend for drinks and sometimes breakfast. Im not a coffee drinker, so I love that they have a lot of non-coffee drinks. I love the bubble tea and the London Fog. My husband tries a lot of the coffee drinks and has loved them all (such as the Mexican Mocha). Food is great, too! They have excellent and friendly service, no matter who is working on the particular day we go. We are always greeted when we get in, and employees frequently engage us in friendly conversation. We always feel welcome. We also really like the atmosphere. They have fun furniture and artwork. Great shop in downtown Highland! :)

Refreshing and creative atmosphere with down to earth staff. I love the tea choices and other interesting drinks they have to offer. My drink of choice is an iced unsweetened blueberry bliss tea with a shot of lavender :) I love seeing the artwork on the wall and they usually always have some sweet 90s jams playing lol only thing I miss about when this place first opened is how they would typically keep the lighting dim around sunset. The dim lighting really gave it that relaxing, cozy coffee shop vibe. I do understand some folks come in with their sketch pads and need lighting tho :) lol

I love the aesthetic of this little hole in the wall cafe. The staff is very attentive and quick on their feet. I really enjoy the music and artwork that fills the cafe, it almost feels like a little art show with warm coffee in your hands. The menu is versatile, everything from breakfast to desserts. My favs would have to be the Billy Goat, The Twisted Chicken, and the vanilla bubble tea (Boba). Make sure to check out the adorable tip jars they have at the front counter, you get to vote your tip(ex. nirvana or pink floyd), very cool place overall, dont pass it up.

Almost everything here is wonderful, from the food to the drinks to the service to the artwork they have hung up. The music they play is also really good in my opinion. Its a good place for meeting people but also a good place to study or do homework or anything of the sort. The only thing Id kind of complain about is that its kind of expensive. However, this is kind of excused because everything is great here, as I said. I highly recommend it and even liked it more than the building they have located in Crown Point.

I LOVE SIP! Everything about this place is awesome (coffee, food, pastries, service, and vibe). Anthony is amazing and always offers top notch service. Great place to grab a quick coffee but also great for sitting down and taking your time. The menu items are diverse and quality is always consistent. I have taken several pictures of my food/coffee because its presented so well! 10/10 recommend! <3

Wonderful afternoon at sip, had to shake the cooks hand after my meal and thank him. His name was austin and expirenced such lovely service from staff that I will be returning without a doubt. Food and coffee was out of this world and couldnt ask for more. Even in busy hours I would wait for their Tims twisted chicken. Thanks!

I have been to SIP 4 times. Excellent coffee and tea and food. Great hangout place. Positive atmosphere. Cozy. Excellent Customer Service.!!!!!!!!!!! Excellent food. Great employees. A very very very UNIQUE coffee house/restaurant. Great place. Kudos to the owner on such a great place in downtown Highland.

Once I found out the wifi password, I was hooked (youll have to come see it for yourself). I freaking love this place. If youre a creative person looking for somewhere to work during the day, THIS is the spot. I used to go to Starbucks by habit, but this place is so cool.

I went to try out some hot coffee, but ended up getting talked into an iced coffee; the, dirty dancing one. Its wasnt too shabby although I will probably go again to try out another type. It had the, alternative feel to it for me. Go ahead and try it out.

Delicious coffee (a café con leche is my thing) , delicious sandwiches (the scrambler is scrumptious! ), beautiful art on the walls, and a great vibe! This café is a must-visit for anyone in the area.
