We went there after traveling all day in my fiancees tractor trailer. We normally love eating there but this time not so much. Our server was super nice but the food was terrible. We normally get the buffet but upon looking at the buffet the food look like it sat all day and nothing was refilled so we decided to order from the menu they didnt have what I actually wanted so I got their chicken alfredo and my fiancée got their pot roast dinner with mashed potatoes and the pot roast was described in the menu to have carrots and broccoli and thats it. We waited an hour for our food only for my fiancée to get a cold slimy so called pot roast that had squash green beans and broccoli in it and the mashed potatoes were not even cooked fully! With still full pieces of potatoes as for my meal it was okay but the alfredo sauce was a bit too strong and smelled awful. Our server was so great and compensated us for the meals. We still tipped our server because she was great and went above and beyond. If you go to this particular iron skillet if you see a skinny girl with black and purple hair dont get the food there

Unfortunately, Google doesnt allow a zero rating or Id choose that. Earlier in the morning I had a BLT. How could someone fu*k that up, right? Soggy bacon and bread wasnt toasted. Fries were decent. I was not feeling well already so I said screw it and ate. Didnt bother complaining. Later, I met a friend and when we sat down to order I looked across the room and there was a cockroach flailing for dear life on his back - ignored by the staff. Called attention to it, lady said "I thought it was a water bug". I said "nope. Cockroach.". She squished it.

Worst Iron Skillet ever, my server was eating hot cheetos while toasting bread and linking her fingers with no gloves. I didnt get a refill on my beverage until I asked. I added the soup and salad to my meal there was no soup, salad was old and brown, flies every freaking where. It was a child coughing over the salad bar repeatedly with no adult supervision. Looks to me like a I was on a hidden camera show but no one came out and said " You just got punked." Whoever is over this store needs to do some serious training!!!!

I am disgusted by the treatment my boyfriend received tonight at this particular restaurant. The waitress who worked tonight was not only racist, but rude also. My boyfriend sat there patiently while she served her white customers, he even went as far as calling her, she ignored him and served a white customer who had just walked in. I cant believe in 2017, we are still being treated as second class citizens. Our money may be green, but if your skin color is black its not wanted here.

Its one of the older Iron Skillets which has a nice feel to it. The buffet is smaller than the larger population area restaurants but is also a couple bucks cheaper too. The service is typical. Two of the waitresses are cousins (as I heard them talking) and most people are friendly and locals seem to know each other here on a Sunday Brunch. Food is fresh and I saw them throw away older pancakes and french toast that wasnt picked.

Stopped in to eat at 10:40. The soup and salad bar was already taken down. After sitting and being ignored until 11pm, we had to yell for the waitress that claimed she hadnt seen us when we were sitting in the middle of the room. We have been stopping at iron skillets all along our routes but after this we are seriously considering going to the Subway or Pizza Hut truck stops.

The waitress was very nice and attentive The food was absolutely horrible My chili tasted as if it was emptied straight from the can I couldnt even eat it We were the only ones in the resturant but somehow I still received cold food smh I will never eat here again I would give it negative stars if I could

Service is superb!!! She checked back with us often and always had a smile on her face. My husband and I ordered breakfast meals in the afternoon. The food was cooked exactly how we asked and tasted great! Location is great; right off of the interstate. We will definitely be returning. Thank you

This was the slowest place i have ever been. I timed it from order to service 30 min. This is completely unacceptable when you are in a hurry. We ordered steak and eggs but I think they must have had to kill the cow first. After we got the food it was mediocre at best.

Me and my fiance just went there tonight and they messed up my finances order service wasnt very good even our drinks tasted awful and the food its self was very greasy and bland I immediately felt sick after eating too dont think we will be going back

Its ok. Wouldnt eat the buffet. Not sure about the cleanliness of the place but seems a bit neglected. I had soup and salad bar. Soup was terrible. Salad bar was ok but could use some better items. No rolls available

I ordered a chicken Alfredo and it had too much Alfredo sauce. It was like eating Oatmeal. All mushy. The best they could do was to take $5 off. Very unhappy.
