Just not the same greatness as Waffle House used to be. Starting with the atmosphere, the decor was non existent, the server was wearing a very casual attire that one might slumber around the house in on a lazy sunday afternoon, and the airconditioning was turned down so low that everyone had to wear sweaters. (I am normally a warm natured person and was shivering the whole time we were there). The service was not bad other than the server interrupting our dining so that she could refill the jelly caddy, which after completing, she sat the caddy down on the table directly in front of me for me to put it back on the rear of the table for her without so much as a please or thank you. The food was generic. I ordered the meatloaf, which was more like slightly burnt salisbury steak and nothing like meatloaf. My wife order the liver and onions which was sliced so thin you could almost see the plate under it. The green beans (once the server remembered to bring them to us several minutes later) were so bad my wife could not even eat them. The mashed potatoes and gravy were okay. The portions were extremely small, especially for the price (approximately $10 per meal). The meatloaf (salisbury steak) was about the size of a quarter inch thick slice of spam, and the liver was about like a slice of bologna. The green beans was enough for about five bites, however, the mashed potatoes was portioned about right. Weve dined this establishment many times, and it just continues to get worse each time. This visit is to be our last at this particular Waffle House. In summary, what used to be a great place to dine has become a cheap, generic, ripoff that could be outdone by a vending machine style meal out of a hospital cafeteria.

When my wife and I walked into the restaurant. We were not greeted nor we told to be seated . So, we chose our own seat . Which was so small that we (medium build persons) could just squeeze into our respective seats. Waitress finally came after a few minutes . Took our drink orders. I ordered biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were made from a mix. The hash browns were from a bag. Sausage in gravy was tasty. Disappointed in the meal. My my wife ordered pancakes eggs and sausage. She received four links of sausage. She said these were already pre cooked sausages. The eggs were tasty as well as the pancakes. She enjoyed her meal. This is our first and last visit to this restaurant. It did not look the cleanest on the inside of the restaurant. The door to the kitchen that the waitresses go through looked really dirty from the waitresses passing through the door and touching it each time. Ceiling tiles were dirty especially around the vents. Overall experience was fair. In my daily work routine I travel the state of Indiana. It is so difficult to find a restaurant that has good quality food and good service and is clean inside.

I had a new server who was given half the room on senior night even though there were clearly 4-5 other employees on the floor that could have lightened the load. The Cook continuously screamed her name on the floor and the floor manager came to our table while we were being served our food and demanded our server stop and be berated in front of the room. No one was bussing her tables for her and the other servers were clearly hazing her making her get their drinks for their tables as well. Despite all this Crystal was still very attentive, accurate, and courteous. I was unable to enjoy much of my meal for concern over the poor treatment of her by other staff. At one point the floor manager was clearly cursing our poor waitress wildly throwing her arms about pointing at crystals tables. This was very unprofessional and the food was rather bland. I dont feel inclined to return or refer anyone to dine here but I would love to see Crystal working at a better restaurant environment elsewhere in town.

This was not "the" Waffle House we are used to stopping at on long trips. It was awful. The waffle was obviously frozen, the eggs had to be sent back twice and even the toast wasnt good. While the interior was nicer, well stick to the "real" Waffle House where everything is cooked in front of you. You know its fresh & not frozen and you cant beat the welcoming southern hospitality at the original Waffle Houses!

The service can be a bit slow sometimes...there was one waitress when we were there the last time and she had to take care of six or seven tables, so about 15 to 20 people, other times Ive seen three waitresses and only two or three tables sitting. The food is really good. Basic American diner fare, burgers, 24-hour breakfast, nothing too fancy, but good comforting "reminds you of home" food.

Here is not your average Waffle House. Yes, it is part of the Waffle House family, but you will find this restaurant to provide a bit more than your diner-style Waffle Houses. My waitress that day was very friendly, the omelette I ordered was sooo tasty, and the price was normal. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone near it!

The syrup is very watered down cheap stuff - they only offer one waffle - at the "waffle house". Everything was sub par quality. I thought it was even worse that the usual Waffle Houses I am used to in OH. I think this place is geared towards seniors who have lost their sense of taste and only care about it being cheap.

Place is a "sun shine family waffle house" whatever that means. The prices were good the hashbrown orders were big... Still cheese and onions if you want... Place was nice than regular waffle houses that I have been to.

Waitress was SO RUDE! Asked for our drink order and walked away while we were still talking. We were gone before she returned.
