Bru Burger has been a long mainstay on Mass Ave. This new location brings high quality burgers, salads, and tasty beverages to the Carmel area. The space is really well built out and offers a wide range of seating options. For our first visit, we shared a well made Cobb salad and each had a burger and fries. Our fries were the right amount of crisp and tender, with a nice level of seasoning without being overly salty. Our burgers matched our requested level of pink. My only gripe would have to be the preparation of my caramelized onions. They were not caramelized at all. There was also a large chuck of the root remaining, and the piece was too large to pleasantly eat. Other than that, the food was quickly served and nicely hot. We will be returning again.

Bru Burger isnt an ordinary burger joint, the atmosphere and interior will make you think you are walking into a steak house. The menu is simple and still offers some variety for ordering new items over many visits. I had the Bru Burger and fries which came with homemade ketchup, you will find the details are really important to them here. The burger was a perfectly cooked medium and was super juicy. A great execution, but I would like to taste just a little more seasoning. I look forward to trying some of the more customized burgers. Update I have since returned, I had the Bourbon Burger, which was again lacking some wowing flavors. The burger itself was very juicy and bacon is always delicious, but I couldnt see or taste any of the glaze.

Bru Burger Bar has a casual modern Industrial feel. It is both family-friendly and great for adults. My black and blue Burger was Juicy. I saw some well Stacked Burgers being delivered to the tables around me. They come ala carte so you will have to get your fries, onion rings or Salad separately. I got the candied pecan with bacon and cranberries. It was really large for a side salad. My son got mac and cheese and fresh fruit and he really enjoyed it. Bread pudding with peaches and caramel ended the meal! Really great meal and I thought the total was reasonable for the quality of food.

Bru is a perfect burger bar. Walking on Mass Ave, the smell will lure you inside. They have good, solid options for burgers and beers. There are options for any kinds of eaters, so its a great choice for mixed groups (adventurous and non-adventurous, foodies or non-foodies, traditionalists or not). Also, I appreciate that they are so good at handling kid diners. Whenever we have people in town, this is always an obvious choice for a place we can all eat together, experience the city, and have a good time.

100% of the time to food at Bru Burger is amazing. It taste great and it seems like they have many health options like a turkey burger or the veggie burger. Today, I went in there on a mission to eat a light dinner. After waiting a awhile to talk with the waiter, he informed me that bru burger doesnt have access to their calorie information. That it is not in the restaurant or anywhere online. Yeah their food is tasty, but how many calories is in their food? I dont want to eat a 1500 calorie veggie patty

Great burgers and onion rings. Good food and a good environment. Edit: 07/2017 Went back for the third time to this location, this time on a Friday evening around 5pm. The wait was minimum, a few minutes at most. Service is always great, highly recommend the Mexicali burger with a side of Sriracha sauce, it is just delicious with the right amount of spiciness. They have a great selection of IPAs and its great to sit in the bar area and catch a game with friends.

Food is good but service was so so, the waiter that served our family was not that easily available as he showed up every 5 or so minutes only for a split second. The wings came out within 5 minutes of ordering but the burgers took almost 30, so make of what you will. Overall, 4/5 seemed fair as the previous visit had much more prompt service so were writing of this visit off as somewhat of an anomaly.

Food is OK. I went in specifically to try the melt your face burger. Its supposed to be a "very hot burger," it was not. Also, I was disappointed that a $13 burger was à la carte. Fries, chips, and onion rings are all extra. Once was good enough for me, especially for an $18 solo lunch. I guess I should consider myself lucky, after all they didnt charge me for my water.

Not only are the burgers great..they have probably my favorite chicken sandwich and favorite fish sandwich. Btw Courtney below...most non commercial chain restaurants dont have nutrition info available. This isnt taco bell. Sure that would be nice but a 1 star rating for that single reason = you should never review anything ever again.

Not sure why the big fuss about this place. The burgers are cooked well, with foodie-inspired toppings and dressings, but dollar for dollar you can get a tastier burger at 5 Guys. The service wasnt spectacular either. Our waiter was very kind, but the kitchen messed up the order a couple of times.

It was ok to me. Took a while to get the food maybe 40 minutes. Seems long for chicken fingers and 2 burgers. In house ranch I didnt care for. The ice cubes make weird flavor in soda when they melt. Nachos were good, portbella sandwich was average, egg burger was soggy and messy. prices are ok.

We really enjoyed this place, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was very relaxing and more upscale than most burger places. We had great service and the prices were very reasonable. If your looking for a great Burger with an upscale tilt this is the place for you.

Bar seating was less than comfortable and the waiter clearly prioritized the large party beside us as more important but the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very "Carmel." We will probably grab takeout here, but if we dine in it will be at the Mass Ave location.

I had the Bourbon Burger here and onion rings. Both were good. The burger was juicy and cooked perfectly. It appears they make their own ketchup and it was excellent with the rings. My wife is a vegetarian and she had many options to choose from. We will return.

Ive been here a few times now and i love this place! The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, the service is good, and better yet the food is very very well done!... I mean not in the since that everything is over cooked, but the food is made with a fantastic taste!

Fantastic food and tons of seating for when it starts tiger busy! Service can be a bit hit or miss but overall great experience! Highly recommend the Bourbon burger! Be careful pulling in and out of the parking lot traffic can be hard to see!

The burger was good. Service was a little slow. Not a fan of the fries, either old or they are just a little hard. I would try it again. Prices are about 9-12 for a burger and fries.
