First and last visit... Our daughter attends college nearby and we thought this looked like a nice place to take her for dinner. The atmosphere was nice and the wine was great. However, it went down hill from there. The waiter, Chris, spilled italian dressing all over my husbands arm. Easy to do since the salads were piled on puddles of too much dressing. Chris grabbed a napkin from another table and literally tossed on our table, quickly apologized and took off. He didnt clean up the table or offer a wet cloth to clean the oil from my husbands arms. Then our meals arrived. My daughter had basic rigatoni with burned cheese on top so she scraped it off. My eggplant parm was disgusting. My cheese was burned too, but I figured I could work around it. The sauce was ok but when I took a bite, the eggplant was like mush. I felt ill after a couple of bites as the texture, color and taste was so unappealing. My husbands dinner was ok but he told me it was bland. I chose not to complain - there was too much to complain about -- underscored by the fact that Chris, the waiter, didnt even care that I had not eaten my dinner or that I didnt want to take it home. I would not recommend this place - the food was plentiful, but it was literally too much of a bad thing!

Suparossa Woodridge is a neighborhood gem in many ways. Food is of exceptional quality. We moved to the area a few years ago and would always pass by this place. One Saturday afternoon we decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did. The décor reminds me of old school Italian. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food - Incredible. Sauces were flavorful, vegetables were fresh and meat was always cooked just right. I love to host at our home but dont always want to be in the kitchen, so we like to order take out from Suparossa. Delivery is fast and food always on point. Im not one to write to many reviews but felt the need to share this one. This place has always surpassed my expectations and we will continue to patron this establishment. A few weeks ago we unfortunately had an unpleasant experience. There was a mix up with our order and I reached out to the manager to discuss the issue. The management staff was extremely attentive and addressed my concerns professionally. If youre looking for a great meal, this is the place to go. They know how to cook and how to run a business here. Thanks for being such a great family place we know we can always enjoy a meal at.

It was not the best experience…first and last time of ever going to this restaurant. Went out with another couple to celebrate his birthday on 7/19/14 at 5:30 pm and dinner took 2 ½ hours to complete. Wait staff was slow; inattentive and took order and then disappeared. We ended up having to get our own water refills. Our appetizers of 1 order of mussels and 1 order of pizza bread took over 30 minutes. Spoke with the manager on duty about our issues; it appeared the he would handle things accordingly. He offered to compensate us for an appetizer which we had asked for the mussels to be “compensated” to which the manager agreed in front of our wait staff. Food finally came out and the salads tasted old, balsamic dressing was terribly. Lasagna and eggplant parmesan were ok but nothing to write home about. Bills arrived and neither the waiter nor manager took off the mussels as promised. Out of pure frustration and severe disappointment in our experience of what should have been a celebration dinner we told manager the only choice he had was to compensate us for the entire dinner and left. Like in the baseball games its 3 strikes and you’re out!!!!!

what an awful experience. We came here for my grandmothers 80th birthday and the afternoon began with the waiter arguing with my grandmother about seating arrangements. Not only did she make reservations a MONTH in advance for our party of 13 but also put down a DEPOSIT!!! When we arrived we noticed we were sitting at three different tables!! The service was awful, the waiter made rude remarks to our tables because he "was making too many trips back and forth!" Im sorry...but isnt that his job?! The food was awful, we passed around dishes to see if perhaps one item was better than others..not so much. The food didnt taste like anything (from salads to pasta to pizza). I would have given the food another shot but like I said, the service was nothing to brag about. An awful experience overall, I would not reccomend this establishment to ANYONE! By the way, I emailed corporate to let them know how unimpressed I was and to tell them what an awful experience I had here and they have YET to respond.

Too much Garlic!!! On everything we ordered. We had a group of 10 celebrating a birthday. It used to be good, and have been here in the past several times. The food was always good with very large portions. This time we could not believe how much garlic was used in each dish ordered. There was so much our mouths were burning with the first bite. Thats too bad because they used to be better than Claras down the street. Now they both suck and we have to go elsewhere for Italian dining. We are Italian and this is not the way to use garlic. So much that it ruins the dish. Nice atmosphere and ok service. But with those prices we will not be going there again any time soon. The bread was good.

We rented the banquet room for a surprise luncheon birthday party for my Mom and it was PHENOMENAL!!! Mike the GM was so accommodating and even assisted us with the decorating. Everyone raved about the food it was so delicious the sausage and peppers, chicken parmesan, and pasta marinara were the BEST.....my mouth is watering just thinking of how good everything tasted. The servers kept all of our drinks coming and everyone had a fabulous time!!! I cant thank Suparossa and their wonderful staff enough for making this event such a success and memorable time for our family!!

only gave this place a one star because I had to but if I had the choice I wouldnt give it any. The food is over priced and horrible and lets not talk about management. Coming to find out one of the male managers there is a REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER. like who on gods green earth would let someone like that work there when theres kids around. Oh and they have cockroaches. They lets some of the best servers go which was one reason why we would go there. Now their staff is HORRIBLE. I swear they just need to shut down. The place is a dump and its not Worth the time or money.

8-31-2014 We had a party of nine, Claras couldnt take us so my buddy made reservations here. We have never been here before, I saw a 2.5 rating and thought great whats this a bad pizza joint trying to be Italian? Turns out we all had a good time and a good meal. 5 of us couldnt finish what we were served and took it home, the others cleaned the plate. The food was served hot and timely after our soup or salads. Some of us enjoyed the wines and others the lemon drop martinis. With a few drinks each and dinner and tip we spent about $35 each. We will go back.
